As a electrician, if the switch is scraped, then cut off the wire near the headlight connection so that you know which colour goes where, excellent video Steve
I think the Serveta switch gear looks crude compared to SX type ignition switch controlled lights with the neat dip switch / horn button . I binned it all and fitted SX type.. Great video
Excellent video, i take out the throttle shaft to. Where the wires go into the handle bar file it on a slope makes it easier to get the wires in. You can also use sandpaper to, I also put a dab of Vaseline where the wires are close to the shaft, trying to cut down on the rubbing. Keep well.
@@TheSteelweasel well, got the mech all in. But i notice a knock knock as i turn the rear wheel in neutral the side casing is off when it does this. What have i done wrong?😏

Yes sometimes but if it’s complicated wiring I always take photos on my phone easy when working on site
@@TheSteelweasel I’m good with wiring diagrams, for the masses and like you say photos or write it down, also tape and a pen
Top work as always
Nice one Steve!

Great vid as usual Steve, done that to mine last week as changing to a Hydraulic front brake and wanted the simpler light/horn switch as well.
All useful information thanks

Cheers Steve,I I've got a headset to replace so I'll have to reconnect the throttle rods and pulleys and the wiring good video
I have MB control rods, they are machined down to give you more room for switch cable.
Good stuff mate.
Just got my pakistani kickstart shaft from the east, might have to shave some off the seal area, 1-2mm should do it😊
Always the way sorry to say . Nothing ever fits
