What perks do you use for Batman

I knew everything except dodge spamming to keep the baterang out. That's a sick one!
Another dope trick is if the opponent is camping or if you just knocked them away, you can throw the baterang behind you, then as its coming back jump over it. It will loop around in a circle to try to follow you. You can rinse and repeat this over and over until it connects or you find another opening. It also looks really really cool.
edit: I just labbed it a little further. You can honestly do this whenever the baterang is on it's way back to you and the opponent is giving you the space to jump over it. Just fullhop over it right as it's gonna go back into inventory, then as it loops around, fastfall to the ground and move away from the baterang to give yourself time/space to jump over it again. You can loop it in circles until it blinks out. Pretty dank.
Thanks, I already knew about the loop part but I didn’t know what can also fast fall with it. It’s honestly a great way to play neutral
@@b0y_in_str1ped_shirt36 bro you can even glide a little and then fastfall if you jump too early, or if you just wanna slightly throw off the timing. Shit is tight. I been abusing it since I typed this comment lol

i love using the slide off the ledge for edge guarding. good tool for people recovering at lower angles
Thanks for the vid. Another tip is that you can charge his up-special for more range on the ground similar to Superman's punches. It seems really cool on ledge,; you should try it sometime!

Do you recommend using the D-Pad over the analog? Or have tweaked your controls to better your gameplay? I've found that using the LT for jump is extremely helpful when using the right stick for air attacks

Maybe some strategies against certain characters would be good videos, like what to do against people with armor or disjointed hit boxes.
Great guide learned a lot even after playing batman for a bit now. A question how should Batman fight armor characters those seem to give me the most issue.
I typically follow up with the batarang, batarang this first then a jab or SAir to follow up after batarang breaks armor. Fully charged slide and batarang also break armor and hit if you have the armor break perk.

Amazing guide. The only advice I can give you is @onestep makes really good guides but nowhere near in depth. Maybe steal a bit of his style and make it your own. Have to say though, one of the most informative guides I’ve found on any character. Great job!
another great tip would be dodging on the edge and using his grounded down normal I found out that it makes you able to slide off the map for some easy edge guarding.
I found it easier to execute if you preemptively run

I'm having difficulty comboing batarang into down special, how are you moving so fast? Is it side dodge jumb?
I main batman as well and some of the things you've shown I simply don't have the coordination. Anyway, here's an Idea: Maybe you could make videos showing ways people/characters have to counter batman and then show how to circumvent them.

Another combo u can do is sair jab jab sair and thsn finish it with a jab jab rang or something

What would you say is batman's best kill move like what move should I consistently b using to get KOs I'm finding it hard to kill with batman atm.

I’m thinking of picking up Batman but how do you handle the Reindog matchup? I main reindog and every Batman I face always looks like they are struggling to get it and can’t really get anything going, as long as I keep my projectiles shooting and my crystal up, so how would you go about it?
A really good Batman can destroy reindog if he’s allowed to constantly apply pressure. If you get away from Batman, he has to play slow to get around your fireballs, by dodging or using his smoke. It’s also easy for Batman to gimp reindog if offstage.
hit that boi offstage and baterang him. Should lead to death or a free spike attempt. Don't grapple offensively, you'll probly fly right into a fireball. And rush him down.
Everyone always gives Reindog space to setup and wonder why he seems like a strong zoner. He's solid but kinda weak up close. Don't don't get hit with Jab 1 too often and he can't do anything to Bat. I play both of them pretty well and I think Batman wins the MU if played properly. Most Batmans lowkey ass tbh
Batbomb can be applied after throwing batarang, but before it hits the opponent.

The tf does the slide go backwards when I'm facing forward, I can't even change the direction at will anymore, it's really pissing me off
Does batman have any armor breaking attacks?
Are any of the green perks useful? I can't seem to even find a basic set of perks to use. My other issue is I'll attempt to do uppercuts only to find myself grappling to them instead. :/
Triple jump and speed force are good as far as green perks
Any advice for avoiding the infinite combos from people? Mainly Harleys long ass combo. I can't seem to down special her she just slaps me with that bat.

All default controls, except I use DPAD to move on PS5 controller
Did you know that if you hit special after you throw the batarnag and just after it touches the enemy it attached the bat bomb in disguise. Good to catch them off guard
That was finally patched
