These two sets of wireless buds have been my biggest question of which is more worth it due to similar price points and even similar bud designs. I have a galaxy s10 phone, so it seems to make the most sense to get the galaxy buds. Im going to get them in black today. From my observation, it seems the galaxy buds call quality has gotten alot better, especially outside. One can also personalize the sound of the Galaxy Buds using the equalizer in the Galaxy Phone setting, such as the Galaxy Note 10+. The Galaxy Buds are really are a snap to pair. When I 1st got my Galaxy Buds, I had the Galaxy Note8. I had the Galaxy Wear app already installed, so all I had to do was open the bud's case and my phone paired right up to the buds. The same when I purchased my Note 10+ Aura Glow. Excellent comparison review between the two. I have both the Samsung Galaxy Buds in BLACK and the Amazon Echo Buds. I've had the Galaxy Buds for two months now & I've only had the Echo Buds for 2 days. The first thing that I want to mention before I forget is that you can actually triple tap on the Echo Buds to reverse to the last track. The only tap feature that you cannot do on the Echo Buds that you can do on the Samsung Buds is 1 tap for pause and raise the volume up or down. On the Echo Buds to pause you simply remove either earbud and they pause automatically. Personally sound-wise I think the Echo Buds sound better with definitely better Bass. As far as microphone call quality goes, everyone that I speak to says that be Echo Buds definitely sound much better then the Galaxy Buds. Well like I said I have only had the Echo Buds for 2 days now, but I have three full months to return them. Because I purchased them on November 1st and they were delivered on November 4th I have the Amazon Holiday Return Policy and that gives me until January 31st of 2020 to return them. That gives me plenty of time to fully test them out thoroughly. As for right now though I have to say it looks like I will definitely be keeping these Echo Buds as well.
I agree with you completely. The bass is a bit better on the echo buds, and the auto pausing from removing the buds seems to be a decent solution to the no single tap
@@MikeOBrienMedia Good morning Mike and thanks. B.T.W your channel and reviews are outstanding. They are so well done and completely honest and unbiased in my opinion. I'm glad that I found your channel and subscribed, keep up the great work. Royal
Thanks! I just checked out what you said with the triple tap and mine still isn't doing that. Are you sure it's not just registering as a double tap or tap and hold? If so, maybe mine need an update
@@MikeOBrienMedia No, it's a little bit tricky but you just have to set it up in the Echo app. It is absolutely working on mine double tap to forward and triple tap to reverse. When I have a moment I will take a screenshot of my settings so I can share it with you.
@@MikeOBrienMedia Ok, I just double-checked to be on the safe side with my echo buds. Yours might be set up already by default to press in and hold on the right ear bud to go back to the previous track. I actually just set mine up that way because I like it better than the triple tap. But it definitely does work because I am literally doing it right now as I compose this message.
The ANR does have some noise, but when listening to music I don't notice it. Even when not listening to music, it doesn't bother me. I would say the noise level is comparable to other ANR at this price level
@@K3zz21 I'm going to respectfully disagree. My $20 wireless earbuds have zero noise. The ANC on the Echo buds is useless in my experience. Little or no difference with passthrough turned off, and ANC turned on. The taps are difficult and mostly unresponsive. They essentially are, but according to Samsung "The Galaxy Buds and Gear IconX earbuds are not water resistant. Because of this, there is a limit to how much water or dust the earbuds can handle without causing damage"
They have IPX2 rated for small splashes or sweat. I dropped mine in the sink and it was submerged for a few seconds and it still works perfectly fine. I might have just been lucky idk but the case is NOT water resistant.
Okay thx
Galaxy buds also have IPX4 water resistance, They also don't have 15 hours in the case it's only 7 hours and 6 in the buds themselves
I thought the galaxy buds only have IPX2????
@@kaimetsu4546 I've seen it mentioned as IPx4, now I'm looking its saying theres none, I don't know but they're deffinately resistant to some degree and do have waterproofing
@@klaidasrunele k thnx because I'm getting them next week so I'm just being cautious
@@kaimetsu4546 I've owned them since the start and they're great, water resistance is the last thing I'm worried about but obviously just don't pour water down the drivers and you probably don't have to worry
@@klaidasrunele K thnx
I have a galaxy pair and they SUCK sound wise I tried everything to get as much sound and nothing helps!!!!
I bought some and returned them the next day because they sounded like crap! I wonder if there is a defect with some of them or if they don't work well with certain phones. I have a Pixel 3XL.
I have a galaxy pair end they work very good the sound is insane! Idk why jou dont have dhat feeling. Can by broken
“Very instantly?” what is that, FFS? It’s either instantly or not? This means you have to wait?
Galaxy Buds are my choice for a multitude of reasons!
I got myself one months ago and I have no regrets.
Galaxy buds all the way plus wireless charging 😉 even though i have an s8. Galaxy buds on offer Black Friday! I would prefer the galaxy buds though Boses' ambience is amazing 😍
I'm going for Galaxy buds, since they get more updates if anything is wrong
Sounds like both are very good earbuds
I own both. The echo buds sound better have way more functionality with Alexa. Are more fun .... If I had to return one pair it would be the galaxy buds . However both are pretty decent overall...
do a razer hammerhead wireless vs galaxy buds
Galaxy Buds has more features
Galaxy buds all the way homie 😁👍
👌
They both sound terrible. I had three sets of the Galaxy but thinking that it was a defect that they sound terrible. I love everything about the galaxy buds besides the terrible sound, people can hear you at all
For me they sound neutral, flat, cooler side sound tbh, mids are great that's what the AKG are known for. I wish they had more action like wire ones. It sound unimpressive than Sennheiser's but they sound good.
What Is Going On With The Call Quality?People Are Saying They Cant Hear Me On The Galaxy Buds.Did The Update Fix The Call Quality?
Galaxy buds have been updating a lot lately. I believe call quality was improved in one of these updates
@@MikeOBrienMedia Ok Thankyou
Peace & Blessings
I have never have problems w calls, but I have seen many complain about the mic.
Galaxy functions are better than the Amazon's 😄 by far so that the rest top does not hurt your ear canal when using controls on the buds
Samsung buds is 7 hrs not 15 or atleast what iv found on my own research and testing
I have the echo buds, i likes them, but they fall out hella, the wing tips they came with were garbage.
You can now get galaxy buds on Amazon for $78.makes me wish I waited
I beg to differ I can't keep the left galaxy earbud in my ear it keeps falling out and I've changed the tips and the winglet
galaxy buds mic was more natural
Galaxy buds win
I've been using Galaxy buds for a while and they're definitely a great pair of buds!
AirPods are the true winner, pro or non-pro regardless 😉
KA S Nahh, sound quality is bland and they don’t fit in most people’s ears that well including mine
I own Both earbuds, & they're both excellent in their own way.
I just consider the Echo Buds ( The Bulgy Galaxy Buds 1.5) since they are an improvement in some ways.
Galaxy Buds are still excellent though
I also own the Creative Outlier Air
( These Earbuds have amazing sound and call quality for just $80, only issue is the Spotty Bluetooth Conectivity when working out)
I'm waiting for LG Tone +Free to go on sale in the states ( was recently released in South Korea) these sport a Germ Killer Case- which is a huge + for earbuds & a much needed feature
Galaxy buds are all out better just keep it like it is, good video tho, personally echo are more for people who cant efford galaxy buds so its like a demo sensational kinda ear buds
U have galaxy buds
This guy kinda looks like Chris Pratt
Hmm... That's a new one
In-depth...12min video.
Me: Ok.
@Im here because im bored if it costs £200+ it needs to be long enough to cover quite a bit an be thoroughly tested.
I own a good collect of £150+ headphones before the Airpods where released.
RealiableCandy4 Lmao 12 minutes is more then enough for a pair of buds..
All true wireless earbuds needs a replaceable battery. Its not that difficult to make, they just wants people to buy every 4 years.
Using galaxy buds on iphone xs.
...and? Do you ever run into any limitations? I haven't tried the Galaxy buds with an iPhone. I knew they worked but wasn't sure if there were limitations
I've tried them on my brother's 11 they do pretty well, just loose some features, but still sound good.
Mike O'Brien No app support so no ambient mode, no equalizer, can’t change the controls. But latency is lower while playing games on iphone than galaxy phones.
