    These two sets of wireless buds have been my biggest question of which is more worth it due to similar price points and even similar bud designs. I have a galaxy s10 phone, so it seems to make the most sense to get the galaxy buds. Im going to get them in black today. From my observation, it seems the galaxy buds call quality has gotten alot better, especially outside. The echo buds sound slightly clearer indoors, but overall with everything mentioned, I think your video helped alot and the galaxy buds should be right for me now

    One can also personalize the sound of the Galaxy Buds using the equalizer in the Galaxy Phone setting, such as the Galaxy Note 10+. The Galaxy Buds are really are a snap to pair. When I 1st got my Galaxy Buds, I had the Galaxy Note8. I had the Galaxy Wear app already installed, so all I had to do was open the bud's case and my phone paired right up to the buds. The same when I purchased my Note 10+ Aura Glow. Samsung is truly amazing with their ecosystem, I really love how all Samsung devices SmartThings, appliances all just connect and talk to one another, it simply is amazing!

    Gun to my head, I'd probably go with galaxy buds just for the better physical tech(USB c, and wireless charging). I'm in the Amazon ecosystem so my plan is to wait out the echo buds gen 2 with my budget buds. I'd imagine the gen 2 bare minimum would add USB c, wireless charging and improve the touch pad controls and responsiveness.

    I'm not so much concerned about the buds. I'm concerned about my phone. I have a TicWatch Pro. They like to steal my phone calls unexpected times. I don't know why i can't hear my phone calls. Then i got apps running in the background. I'm just wondering if my Samsung S8 phone can handle all of this!!!! Also You really didn't go into productivity tools. Does Alexa speak out your reminders in your ear like she does on the Echo speakers? Or do I have to do something to get the reminder notification? Will it speak out calendar events and other notifications? I'd like this, but i can see that when i'm in a meeting at work or someone is talking to me and Alexa starts speaking, that can be a problem.

    Excellent comparison review between the two. I have both the Samsung Galaxy Buds in BLACK and the Amazon Echo Buds. I've had the Galaxy Buds for two months now & I've only had the Echo Buds for 2 days. The first thing that I want to mention before I forget is that you can actually triple tap on the Echo Buds to reverse to the last track. The only tap feature that you cannot do on the Echo Buds that you can do on the Samsung Buds is 1 tap for pause and raise the volume up or down. On the Echo Buds to pause you simply remove either earbud and they pause automatically. Personally sound-wise I think the Echo Buds sound better with definitely better Bass. As far as microphone call quality goes, everyone that I speak to says that be Echo Buds definitely sound much better then the Galaxy Buds. Well like I said I have only had the Echo Buds for 2 days now, but I have three full months to return them. Because I purchased them on November 1st and they were delivered on November 4th I have the Amazon Holiday Return Policy and that gives me until January 31st of 2020 to return them. That gives me plenty of time to fully test them out thoroughly. As for right now though I have to say it looks like I will definitely be keeping these Echo Buds as well.

    • @MikeOBrienMedia
      @MikeOBrienMedia  5 лет назад +1

    The ANC on the Echo buds is useless in my experience. Little or no difference with passthrough turned off, and ANC turned on. The taps are difficult and mostly unresponsive. I like the audio and Alexa. But the 3-band EQ does NOT change things much, maybe +/- 3 dB, whereas native EQ on Galaxy phone allows +/- 10 dB - much more effective.

    I have been looking for an upgrade to my Galaxy buds. I am still looking. All the other buds on the same price some even higher will have compromises. The jabra 75t doesnt have Qi charging, the Sonys look weird AF and dont really fit too well for me plus the case if huge. The buds still for me due to portability, fit, features like Qi charging, touch pad with a lower price. Sound is not that great but not too bad either.
