Fun Fact: Both Aaron Pierre (Mufasa) and Kelvin Harrison Jr. (Taka/Scar) were both born in 1994 the same year that the original Lion King film came out.
Indeed! I hope the first one would have been the same way, BUT they at least listened to their fans and also made something new that hasn't been seen before. Props to them.
Taka/Scar is trying a "Can you feel the love tonight" mode but Sarabi don't care, not the time, not the mode. He try to emphatizing with her but he sound too much happy for the sad situation.
Even though he hasn’t fully crossed to the dark side yet, you can tell that Taka still has a bit of an ego right here, as he tries to make the moves, and scoffs at the notion that Zazu can protect Sarabi.
I really want that to happen! That would be hilarious! Also, I love how Mufasa says yeah…right. On the part where Taka/Scar says mufasa will always take his side and Mufasa sings yeah. Right. Just like when Simba says we’ll always be pals right, Mufasa: yeah. Right!
Yeah we can see, scar wants to be king and sarabi. Obviously we know mufasa being king is a big motivation for scars betrayal/decent, but i think the possible love triangle will play a big role as well. Ppus in the 2019 movie scar tells sarabi about his frustration that she chose mufasa over yim so im almost certain its going to be more personal than just not being able to be king
Just as Disney's Lion King and Mufasa are truly inspired by O. Tezuka's Jungle Emperor (= Prince of the Jungle) Leo or Kimba, it is hoped that one day after O. Tezuka's copyright expires perhaps in the very late *2050, and in the very distant future, Disney's future new Astro Boy will be based on the O. Tezuka's Atom 1963, 1980 series. *Merely, the protection period of Tezuka's copyright can be changed before the 2050s.
each character voiced in the original lion king movie is way younger in age in this upcoming prequel. this is why the characters are voiced by people who sound more youthful than their older counterparts. hope this makes sense
Taka: "Your king hired a bird to protect you?"
Sarabi: "How high can you fly?"
She's got a point, Taka.
Wow.
She may not be queen of pride rock at the moment, but she IS the queen of comebacks!
@@thomashuffman3237 and she does it again as grown adults before the war on pride rock
@@blee1997 yup. Because in that instant, Scar shot himself in the foot.

It came out in 1995
@@mydude8731 Actually, the original Lion King movie was released in theaters in the year of 1994.
@@mydude8731June 24th 1994 to be exact, 19 days after I turned 1 year old. My favorite Disney movie of all time

1994...The lion king is 30 years old this year.
They REALLY went with way more expressions and animated features. I love it.

I love Sarabi’s entrance towards Mufasa and the way she defended Zazu from Scar.
Not gonna lie I totally thought that was zira, since technically speaking Kiara is in this movie
0:17 Wow, he only introduced himself and she made that face. He had no chance. 😂
No he didn't. Sarabi is a perfect match for Mufasa
She got the ick right away
Mufasa: and that Simba is how I met your mother.
Oh, thanks for stopping this from getting uncomfortable, Zazu. Where would we be without that snooty bird, huh?
Taka/Scar is trying a "Can you feel the love tonight" mode but Sarabi don't care, not the time, not the mode. He try to emphatizing with her but he sound too much happy for the sad situation.
yes i agree with you he eems to excited to share a sad experience in hopes of bonding over the same grief
He is also arrogant for a position he did not earn and cannot keep.

0:32 Don't eat the bird 😂
“My name is Taka”
**Bombastic side eye** **Face of disgust** **”Get away from me” expression** **Still says nothing**
Here team mufasa 🦁
Imagine if Scar caught Zazu and Mufasa corrects him.
Mufasa 🦁: Taka!
Taka 🦁: Mhmm?
Mufasa 🦁: Drop him!
😂 🤣 😂 🤣
“Impeccable timing, whoever you are!”

your king hired a BIRD to protect you? 😂😂

Taka: I hate this guy already.
0:47 that the reason that taka make that face
That's Mufasa not Taka
@@ethanshembvibar7020 It's Taka. Mufasa has an American accent, taka has an English one. It's pretty obvious.
@CaraMcAteer But Taka is the much more whiter lion talking to Sarabi
Nice one, Zazu.
0:27 Zazu!
So, so beautiful!
This is truly inspired bt Osamu Tezuka's Kimba or Leo.
taka looks like such a sweetheart, i hate how he became scar, tbh i would be scar too
How are people posting movie clips? The movie isn’t even released
These are official clips released by Disney themselves. Every time a new movie comes out they tease a few clips to get ppl hyped about it.
0:32i quiver with fear
They did John Oliver dirty not bringing him back as the older Zazu....

Taka was sweet but a little too thirsty 😂 should’ve just played it cool like Mufassa😂
This is a movie with a lot of walking. Even when they're just having a conversation in a clearing.
🦁
the way they move is unnatural and unnerving.
The Lion King
Choose your side Animal Lion king or Jurassic world
Preston Nyman and John Oliver
Preston Nyman. Zazu got young casted
I like young Sarabi🦁
Wait did taka father ruled the pride land
No, Obasi rules a different territory that Taka was heir to until Kiros of course came along with his pride.
Wait, the 2019 movie implied that Zazu knew Mufasa when he was a cub, so this doesn't make sense
well...tiny detail
He could've just over-exaggerated or made a joke like Mike did in Monsters Inc. about how Sulley was jealous of Mike's looks or whatever.
