Since I'm from Poland but live in the UK, I have drank this quiet a lot and I must say its on the better end if you want to feel something after drinking 1-2 beers. I feel like the British beers that are around 4% are not strong enough but that's just my opinion. However this Debowe is really nice in flavour and relatively strong.
My employer distributes one of the largest brands on this planet, and it starts with an H. But let's talk about your review. Many of my collegues, our drivers, that deliver our product to our clientele (restaurants, bars, etc) are from Polish origin. At one point, I was presented with one of these Debowe Strong Oak beers. I was very happily surprised! I must say, it ranks among my favourites now, and for me, it's readily available, because there are a lot of Polish nightshops in my metropolish area. ( see what I did there). It's above average, I would say. Quite good.
And right as you press the like button, I am am drinking one, on my friday night, after work. From a glass bottle. They /do/ come in brown glass bottles, 500 cl, and I prefer those over the half-liter cans that you reviewed. Cheers!
@@AndysBeerReviews Please don't. You'll be mightily disappointed. When you talk about mass-produced...just don't. You know what they say about Bud. "What's the similarity between Bud and making love in a rowing boat?" - "It's f*cking close to water." - Same goes for H.
@@AndysBeerReviews Your review is quite spot-on when it comes to what flavours I get from it. I would say bitterness 16 IBU, softened by too much suger though. Too much of both. But, for a 7 percent percentage beer, it is rather smooth and I defniately do not get any chemically induced hangover from it. You don't notice it's 7 percent; it tastes like a regular 5 %. I DO have a very strong suggestion for you though; You want to try the Dutch brewed Hertog-Jan. It's a lager, a Pilsner, but, it shares many qualities with this one. However, The Hertog-Jan is brewed with better water.

Thanks for your comment. I thought it was good too 👍🍺

Thanks Leo, Polish beers tend to be fairly decent. I don't think I've reviewed that H brand yet so I'll have to do that sometime. Cheers 🍻
What flavours did you get Leo?

Thanks for the comment Zami, it's a very nice beer indeed 👍
7.5 from me too
It's not too bad is it Mark. Thanks for your thoughts 🍻
I used to drink it many years ago, it was more popular back than. Quite bitter due to high alcohol ABV. Pretty average beer.
Average but nice 🙂🍻
I got this from home bargains today
You'll have to let me know what you think about it 🍺
