The Fógues performing this song of huge local significance, in the Fir Grove Hotel, Mitchelstown, at the foot of the majestic Galtee Mountains.
The Galtee Mountain Boy was written by Patsy O'Halloran, with notable recordings coming from The Wolfe Tones, Paddy Reilly and Christy Moore.
This concert was part of The Fógues' Munster Tour "Turas na Mumhan", and all proceeds were donated to Special Friends, a charity offering support to children with special needs and their families.
The Fógues are (L-R) Ted O'Brien, Jack Fogarty, Micheál Fogarty, William Fogarty.
