That is actually not that big of a difference for 300hp, given the stock Durango was late on the start for about 0.5 seconds. Even if this was a stock to stock race the other car would already take him by at least a few car lengths.
Crazy thing is the difference in HP is the same amount of HP my Acura MDX SUV has and i know how quick it is. I can only imagine driving a SUV this fast

The stock truck makes 710 hp and wasn’t hauling nearly as much weight as the 1000hp truck. For a vehicle to have 6 people in it and still move faster than a Lamborghini Uríus with no people in it is plenty impressive.
