  • The Atherton Tablelands is a large area to the west of Cairns in Far North Queensland, Australia. Despite being so close it has a somewhat different climate to Cairns - often cooler and dryer. There are a number of well known small towns like Kuranda and Atherton but thre are literally dozens of other things to see in this diverse area. Here are 10 of our favourites.
