Great video. Just one thing to point out. I think the upper connector that you disconect (the one that's coming from the side) may be the digitizer one, because the screen connector is at the bottom with the loudspeaker (you can see it at 4:25). I assume you later realize it when assembling but just to make sure anybody trying this repair knows that there are 2 conectors from the screen. Thanks for you job and your videos, keep it up, cheers from Spain.
Company called ishine sell the genuine parts to the public in the UK and Ireland. Look them up as every time I try to post the link to the website on these videos my comment disappears🤷
Awesome tutorial!!! Got it all done and now I just need to buy the screen and glass and get it done!!! One question though, does the screen connector on the new screen thread through easily? I actually had to rip off the damaged one rather than being able to thread it through. If it all works out, you just saved me like 650 bucks!!!
I will say one thing that I had problems with before with back panel replacements. Preapplied adhesive, I dont know what it is with it but the ones I used to purchase just really had the strength of double sided sticky tape that you'd find at your local shop, instead if it's only a screen replacement your getting and your back panel is in good condition after the repair then consider purchasing a back panel adhesive rework kit and use that for your repair
Question would this be cheaper than buying a hole frame with a oem screen and glass all you have to do swap the guts, a oem frame for my s23 ultra phantom black is like $400cad the site you mentioned headlane isn't loading for me atm so not sure how much this would cost
I didn't see where you put what all you need. As far as what it is to buy, court numbers or anything like that. I got one of the S23's and I'm going to try to fix it myself. By watching your videos it be nice to have the same equipment that you have
Greetings and thank you for this very useful tutorial. May I ask you, where did you get that plastic tool which you used to remove the display? I mean, that transparent tool :)
anyone can tinker with their own devices, it just takes time and patience. Thats how i learned to repair my own devices its super simple but just have to be super careful because some things are very fragile.
People have tutorials all over youtube and that's how this person learned how to do it everyone does stuff differently though some people don't care how they take stuff apart and others are more careful how they do stuff just try stuff and figure it out it's not hard just don't over thing things
There actually are 3 diffrernt screws if you have 5g version. 2 smallers ones a 1 black up top for one of the cameras. Where do you get the oem screen. I ordered a defect one and was in amazing shape and great price but just had a very small green spot.
What if part of the screen is black? I have an s23 like that. I can't see notifications or anything at the top and right side. Is it an easy fix for a layman? I don't have hundreds for a shop.
Man you make this look so easy , I've got a Samsung s23 that needs a screen replacement but am definitely not going to try this am sure it's gonna get f***** up 😂😂😂😂😂
I just had my screen replaced and the outer frame on the sides is black instead of chrome and it's all beat up like it was used. Did I get scammed? I'm definitely taking it back cause the volume down button isnt working very well, the screen isnt glued down all the way, and if you even tap the phone too hard the whole phone turns off. I'd rather have the green line across my screen again.
Comprei o adesivo no aliexpress chegou hoje. A qualidade do adesivo impermeável é excelente se não quase o mesmo da Samsung e veda bem e prende mesmo ficou top.
This guy has been asked like 10 times for links, and the replies says he'll post them, or they're on the way, but never posts because it'll "hurt his business"...😂
I Can guarantee you it doesn't "hurt business" or else we wouldn't be making free repair tutorials 🤣 use some initiative and take a look for yourself instead of complaining bud.
Hello everyone my s23 ultra screen got broken when I took it for replacement I told to the guy who does the fixing to buy me original screen after he fixed it I noticed on the new screen right and left edges the black lines are more thick then my previous screen I'm not sure if it's fake or what when I spoke again with the guy he told that he bought the original screen and it cost me like 250 GBP
Great video.

Ouh nevermind, you already said it at 7:13, I usually used to remove the loudspeaker but you can just push it that way to save time. Regards.
Do you have a link for the parts needed and where to buy from please
Excellent tutorial! Would you kindly provide that parts link you mentioned? I didn't see it in the description. Thanks!

I just did this and used a razor blade debit card and a playing card like you use in blackjack
Great job.
May I recommend wiping the mat before you work on it, will keep dust and debris from ruining your work
I had to get my screen replaced and now my front camera is blurry. Do you know what could have happened?
Where did you learn all this? Is there a school you got to or just by experience?

Depends on the device

Looks like you would need to replace the entire screen to fix it.
Need a troubleshoot video for fingerprint sensor
