- This video shows us picking up our 2024 Toyota Tacoma. We give a walkthrough of everything we can see on the vehicle. We talk about the styling of the exterior, the suspension, and the interior of the 2024 Tacoma.

It’s nice how easy it is to get to the spark plugs when it comes to replacing them plenty of room to work on
Toyota advertises the hell out of the auto tailgate but don’t say it’s only available on their most expensive premium package. Even a dampened tailgate is only on certain models. Good looking truck guys, u can nit pick all day but overall ur going to have a lot of fun w it and it will last. Enjoy it!
The no flat platform in rear seat is a NO go for anyone with a dog !!! The 3rd gen the rear seat folds flat and is awesome.
I love the new truck. only points of concern are the all digital tach display for longevity, and no more space in the back seats like the last gen
Such a beautiful truck...I own a 3rd Gen 2021 Army Green TRD Off-Road Premium with 58k miles on her thus far...not sure when I'll get a 4th gen, but I do plan on getting it one day.
As soon as they put a 4.0 or a v8 in one. That’s when I order

My guess is the reason they didn't put a cover over the engine is to release heat from the hot turbo?

They had a chance to make the back seat a decent size but nope lol.

The way the back seats flip up/stow away is a deal breaker for me

Sure hope they fixed the white paint issue. Probably not.

I wish that big screen could swivel towards driver just slightly and entire rear window to slide down instead of that small sliding port hole. Otherwise, love it.
@11:03 As far as I can tell the gen 4 taco is larger than the gen 3 taco by a few inches (according to Edmunds specifications). The footprint has to be bigger in order to grow the truck in order to make up for the EPA CAFE metrics year over year. They cannot make it get much better fuel economy so they grow the pickup, so the fuel economy doesn't have to be as high. This is why we cannot have small pickups anymore. *If the 2024 taco was the same size as the first Toyota Truck in major production, then it would have to get in the neighborhood of 45 to 50mpg.*

Any idea wwhy the engine doesn't have a cover? All other variations of this engine in highlander, crown, lexus products have it. Wonder if there's a specific reason why.

Engine cover is purely cosmetic and holds heat in. Good lining reduces nvh and is very functional.

51k is what we paid for it which is MSRP. Mountain States Toyota doesn't mark up their prices
