Plz help 1997 international box truck dte466 150k miles 4spd auto 4.44 final drive 64mph looking to run up and down the highway with a higher top speed 70-75… what should I do? Go with a 4:10 gear and tune it for the low end. Thx for any help!!!
I’ve got a 97 7.3, auto that was manual swapped. I have factory pcm. Not sure if it’s been flashed or if it’s in the edge tuner it has on it. I want to switch to hydra but when I put my code in it gives me tunes for a automatic… what do I do?
The automatic files will run and drive the truck, you'll just have a CEL. If you want to send our support email an email with your PCM code, we can give you the manual counterparts to try.
So with my list of tunes it gives me 3 options per tune like 25 daily, 25 daily- modified valve body, and 25 daily -(something like modified shift I can’t remember). But my question is what is the third one aka the one I can’t remember and would that be the recommended one for a stock transmission? My box code is VDH2 if that helps
For a stock transmission, try the standards first. If you find you run into erroneous downshifts at heavy throttle, try the Hybrid Shift Strategy files.

How do certain pcm codes allow the 140 hp tune and some don’t. Like mine is NAW4 and I can only add the 80 hp tune

Why do the 100+ hp tunes not appear for my PCM? i have code NAW4
NAW4 is an OBS truck. Those trucks have smaller factory injectors than the later-model Super Duties.
Truck won't start on any tune even 00, I don't think connections are dirty i cleaned well.

What if the box code is not shown on the harness?
We have a video on our channel that goes over using the Hydra Chip to read the PCM to get your code.

Mike, anytime we see a stall condition or a crank no start, we start with the PCM contacts. They are most likely improperly cleaned.
