@@BenrysCrap Majority of his viewers are kids who don’t have emails. They don’t have RUclips nor Twitter accounts. Dream only spammed vote glowsquid on his twitter. Antvenom in some of his videos demanded others vote for the mob he wanted which was the ice wizard (Can’t remember it’s name.) Worse of all is Logdotzip who is affiliated with Mojang and made mods of what he thought each mob would be like when added to Minecraft. Normally that wouldn’t be a problem if it wasn’t for five things: 1- He’s affiliated with Mojang, meaning he’s given access to upcoming features before the public knows about them. 2- He released his mod before the vote making anything in his mod have potential to sway peoples minds. 3- He makes Minecraft news videos. 4- He originally click-baited his mods videos by claiming what’s in his mods will be added to the game. 5- There was major confusion of what features each mob would have even before he made his mods, making a lot of people assume his mods where the actual planed content. The gag Mojang did inspired his version of the glowsquid as it added a new effect which froze players making them unable to move, would be revolutionary for pvp and mob farms. It also added dynamic lighting which Mojang later had to go out of their way to literally state that the glowsquid will not add either dynamic lighting or new effects to the game. Could Dream of impacted the vote? possibly but I personally think not as most his audience doesn’t use twitter, Antvenom had a much bigger impact on the vote as he demanded his viewers on youtube vote for the Ice wizard, and Logdotzip being a Mojang affiliate using click bait to bring popularity to his mods which didn’t have official features for the mobs hurt the vote far more then Dream could of ever dreamed of doing to the vote.

Although i think the mob votes are stupid, i think its even stupider to just cancel it. One thing i like about this years mob vote is that the voting actually happens in minecraft instead of a poll on Xitter
Im not sure if i anyone knows but theres is a iceolelger in the mob vote server on top of a ice mountain and i think it might be a hint it will be in the game
the vote with the phantom in 2017 they did say they would never bring the other mobs back but they did make an empty promise in 2018 saying everything would one day make it to the game and it never happened and continued to make new concepts to be lost. I remember when this was a huge controversy in 2019 cause everyone realized mojang just completely forgot about the 2018 vote
I think past mob votes were underwhelming at best, like there were definitely mobs in there that just didn't need to be in the game. But this time around, all three of the mobs we got are winners and it sucks that only one is allowed to get in the game. One interesting idea for fixing it without ditching it entirely is if previous mobs returned in future votes, and if each vote added two or three mobs instead of just one. Imagine if last time we had the option to vote for the iceologer or copper golem instead of the sniffer, and we knew the ones that didn't get in would have their shot next year? It'd feel a lot more like fans getting to choose the best ideas to prioritize, rather than picking two to condemn to the minecraft vault
Here's a reminder for people who are misinformed like this RUclipsr, mobs that lose aren't scrapped forever. Mob votes are something more like which mob you want earlier to be developed in the game, for example the swamp biome vote with the frog and the chest boats came back years later right? So please stop spreading misinformation like this RUclipsr. Can't complain that Microsoft is part of this, but Mojang ain't lazy, snapshots and betas are for something, they bring many many many bug fixes and features almost every week, how do you want to rush the game when it's already being developed every day. They don't only work for one version, they work for ALL PLATFORMS remind you that sometimes a different platform of Bedrock Edition can crash due a bug that only happens on PS5 and then the rest of the platforms works fine. Well they have to find a error in the code to fix that, Java and Bedrock use different code languages and if YOU don't know absolutely ANYTHING about coding then don't even bring your opinions. "Modders makes mobs faster" SHHH, Mojang is a company with professional coders, they have to make their coding clean and professional, not a mess to just make it work, also to help themselves in the future when fixing bugs that might happen later. Microsoft might have something to do with this but then, don't complain to Mojang Studios. Keep your words if you don't know what you are even saying.
Honestly Mojang should just bring back the old concepts for the next one so they can get added. I wouldn't mind the Iceoliger and the Rascal in 2024 or later with EXTRA time to rework anything if Mojang wants to change anything. They could honestly improve it but we aren't seeing them again. They should change it
Mod developers actually realize that it takes time and effort to make things in minecraft. And Mojang has even more things to deal with like making it function for bedrock and java. We either get one of the mobs in the mob vote, or none of them. Essentially instead of voting all three to be added to Minecraft we'd be voting all three to never be added.
I think they should at least rework the vote, give us more details and hold a separate one for losers until they get in. I feel stupid for having a personal subconscious vendetta against the allay because it “took the glare away” and the glow squid not being nearly what it could have been. Yes, I’ve seen comments defending mojang before, but it’s not like updates don’t already feel half assed in the first place anyways…
If Fortnite could add a weapon a week at its prime and even now completely revamp the map every chapter whilst being in unreal engine, then I don’t know why Mojang can’t add 3 mobs or make more updates each year into a pixel game. This is literally the definition of drip feeding us content
I stand by the fact that mob votes are stupid, These dudes at mojang would permanently remove all ideas from the perfect mob to be added to the game just because the fanbase chose a stupid dog over it
I presonally don't like the mob vote, as it makes it so cool ideas never get in the game. And while I don't like that, I feel if they had to do a vote, instead it could be one mob that they're for sure adding and let us vote on what gimmick/utility that specific mob would have. I know this still makes it so good ideas are cut, but it also makes it so no mobs are cut. Idk this could be a good workaround, if anything.
well i think that if they add the previos mobs people wont be that exited so i think every update two previos mods should be added and mob votes get new mobs not the previos ones
I love that the gamers are taking their game back. What should have been 'Here are three mobs, the winner will be added first and the other will come later' turned into 'Hey what features can we lock behind this event'.
I remember when I said I thought the moobloom is neat how many toxic dream fans commented. It was ridiculous. I thought the moobloom would be good because it would make the flower forest and fields more interesting. While still having functionality equal to the cow or more interesting. I’m just tired how toxic the community gets.
The best idea would be to dedicate an entire update to optimization and implementing some popular modding API into base game, as well as the many optimization mods like Sodium, Iris, etc.
A long time ago mojang tried to buy optifine to make minecraft run better, but the creator of optifine refused, So mojang has tried in the past and I believe they are in talks with the creator of Sodium to possibly buy it to implement it into the base game, I'm not entirely sure though, so you'll have to check for your self.
They can only add so many yes modders can add them in a short time but they tend to have way to many bugs while Mojang has to add a mob polish is for to plate forms and figure out how that mob will interact with everything else in the game.
Mob Vote should tell us which mob comes FIRST, second and last. Say, Armadillo was the first one added in, Penguin in the next update, and Crab in the update after that.
The problem is that they usually don't announce stuff before development has started and I think if the people vote for no by 51%. The community will get even angrier
Tell me if im wrong but hasnt mojang say that they will add the losing mobs when the time is right then why havent we got any if the first mob votes in yet? Surely theres been a good time
Not the 2017 one, they are gone forever, its the latest ones that we've got will from the first biome vote to the latest mob vote will be added eventually, but eventually is up to Mojang tbh, but yeah
I thought of a mob vote where they would bring 3 scrapped mobs in 1 consisting of an animal, unique creature and hostile mob. Each of the 3 votes have these 3 mobs and rather than repeating the sequence of scrapping the other two, we can just delay the other two votes for a different time.
Should mojang stop, keep, or change the mob vote?

They shouldn't even have a mob vote. They should get the 3 mobs in the game. The reason they dont add it is because they are lazy like look at mincecrafts successful lil brother terraria. This game has gotten about more bosses than i can count and thing that Minecraft doesnt have. Like a toilet thst spits out sh*t... theres 10 million other toilets... and thats just one block.
It’s honestly insane that this may be the first time the Minecraft community controls a Minecraft live..
I think the mob vote should be something where they are going to add all 3 but what ever gets the most votes they will be added first. So if the mob you want to win loses you just have to wait awhile instead of losing it all together.
TF2 used the same system. We are still waiting for the Heavy update.
*instantly pauses the video to sign the petition*
################
Done the same thing
At the end I realized you had 2.2k subs. I thought you had over 1m. You are very underrated!
Thank-you! Sorry for the click-baity video lol... Wanted to get it out exactly 12 hours before Minecraft live
I agree people need to stop meat riding mojang “oh well it’s harder to make a mob than a mod” like bruh they are Microsoft with a massive team and modders are usually filled with a small team of 4-5, now I’m no dev or kidder but it seems very simple to code 2 other mobs💀💀
*For Future mob votes...*
DON'T. Just fuckin add all the mobs. It's sad when Mo creatures can do an better job than an Trillionaire company... (Trillionaire? Trilhionary? I dunno...)
Here my idea, Mojang should do a "mob update" someday which adds all mob vote mobs to the game.
I prefer add all the mob so its a fair and square WHY DONT MOJANG DO THAT
The mob vote makes them money, they are not going to stop just because of an online petition. The controversy over the mob vote is making money, maybe more than the vote itself.
Speaking of the 2020 Mob Vote, there was a clip of the Glow Squid that stuns both Mini Agnes and Mini Jeb, because they got too close. In the actual game when the Glow Squid was added, I got VERY close to it but did not get stunned.
That was a gag and it was the reason the squad won, not because of Dream.
@@darth3911 dream definatley didnt help
@@BenrysCrap Majority of his viewers are kids who don’t have emails.
They don’t have RUclips nor Twitter accounts. Dream only spammed vote glowsquid on his twitter.
Antvenom in some of his videos demanded others vote for the mob he wanted which was the ice wizard (Can’t remember it’s name.)
Worse of all is Logdotzip who is affiliated with Mojang and made mods of what he thought each mob would be like when added to Minecraft.
Normally that wouldn’t be a problem if it wasn’t for five things:
1- He’s affiliated with Mojang, meaning he’s given access to upcoming features before the public knows about them.
@@darth3911You REALLY must not use Twitter if you think Dream's fans are practically nonexistent there.
@@6A5T08WDIa YT statistics show majority of Dreams fans do not have emails.
Just because most of his fans don’t use Twitter doesn’t mean he has no presence on Twitter.
Usually Twitter accounts of RUclipsrs will get less subscribers and viewers then their RUclips channels but can still maintain a decent audience.
Although i think the mob votes are stupid, i think its even stupider to just cancel it.
One thing i like about this years mob vote is that the voting actually happens in minecraft instead of a poll on Xitter
Here’s the thing the frog was in a mob vote with the goat then it came to minecraft
I think Mojang should change the mob vote, not end it
"Is cancelled" is quite a difference from "may be cancelled" 💀💀💀
Im not sure if i anyone knows but theres is a iceolelger in the mob vote server on top of a ice mountain and i think it might be a hint it will be in the game
it’s nice seeing all us minecrafters come together to stop this.
the vote with the phantom in 2017 they did say they would never bring the other mobs back but they did make an empty promise in 2018 saying everything would one day make it to the game and it never happened and continued to make new concepts to be lost. I remember when this was a huge controversy in 2019 cause everyone realized mojang just completely forgot about the 2018 vote
i want the crab to win cuz it will make pvp more fun and traps cool to and u can pvp the warden the dragon and other strong mobs from a distance
What would be better is if it was entire biomes with tons of mobs not just one shitty one
STOP THE VOTES add them All
"Okay now finnaly we reached, now u must add all 3"
Mojang:"we dont do mob vote anymore, so no mr crabs for u"
"Bro what-"
Here's a reminder for people who are misinformed like this RUclipsr, mobs that lose aren't scrapped forever.
I won't lie, the fact that the minecraft players unironically unionized screams 2b2t influence... and I'm all for it.
Mob vote has just opened seconds ago and I don't want to choose between one of them.
Essentially instead of voting all three to be added to Minecraft we'd be voting all three to never be added.
they could add them but this makes us talk about them
so they're winning
When I voted for the sniffer I WON
Kid named misinformation: (change the title please)
They should just make all 3 mobs and ask which is your favorite out of the 3 joining
They should give us all three mobs and drop the villager trade nerfing if they need to cut a "feature" to give the time to make the mobs.
They should get all the mobs that lost and use those in the vote
Maybe they’re saving the mobs so that they can put them all in one update?
THEY HAS CANCELLED THE MOB VOTE
bro thi is bs. I would much rather have a single good mob then all 3 of them scrapped
When is the last time a petition influenced a decision for big companies?
If Fortnite could add a weapon a week at its prime and even now completely revamp the map every chapter whilst being in unreal engine, then I don’t know why Mojang can’t add 3 mobs or make more updates each year into a pixel game. This is literally the definition of drip feeding us content
What if the winner is just added before the update and the two losers in the update. So we would just get the winner early.
Maybe mob vote should be voting for what mob comes in what order which mobs get added first
there should be a "forgotten friends" update where they add most or all of the mobs from previous mob votes
I stand by the fact that mob votes are stupid,
These dudes at mojang would permanently remove all ideas from the perfect mob to be added to the game just because the fanbase chose a stupid dog over it
It’s funny because the Mob Vote is still happening
Mojang should add all three mobs but still do a mob vote to see which mob they will work on first
Spread this.
Next mob vote we should be allowed to vote for 2 mobs out of all of the mobs we've missed out on!
the thing is is that in the first mob vote they said every mob will be added just in later updates
Already know the title is cap without watching
I presonally don't like the mob vote, as it makes it so cool ideas never get in the game. And while I don't like that, I feel if they had to do a vote, instead it could be one mob that they're for sure adding and let us vote on what gimmick/utility that specific mob would have. I know this still makes it so good ideas are cut, but it also makes it so no mobs are cut. Idk this could be a good workaround, if anything.
With these events, they should change it to bosses mobes instead of normal ones
well i think that if they add the previos mobs people wont be that exited so i think every update two previos mods should be added and mob votes get new mobs not the previos ones
I love that the gamers are taking their game back. What should have been 'Here are three mobs, the winner will be added first and the other will come later' turned into 'Hey what features can we lock behind this event'.
2 options, either add all 3, or cancel, no in between.
how do you vote for the mob vote? It may sound weird, but in my 8 years of playing, I have never voted once, and I hope to learn
we should riot and make them add all the previous mob vote mobs in 1.21
This is fake fully, because I visit Minecraft official RUclips channel, they are starting count, for Mob vote
I remember when I said I thought the moobloom is neat how many toxic dream fans commented. It was ridiculous. I thought the moobloom would be good because it would make the flower forest and fields more interesting. While still having functionality equal to the cow or more interesting. I’m just tired how toxic the community gets.
Minecraft has to test their mobs and make sure they’re is no glitches AND they have to make the rest of the update.
I wouldn’t say remove it entirely, but have the top two mobs be added, and the one that lost should be in the next vote.
I love the part where he described how the Mob Vote is cancelled.
They can only add so many yes modders can add them in a short time but they tend to have way to many bugs while Mojang has to add a mob polish is for to plate forms and figure out how that mob will interact with everything else in the game.
Bring back the biome vote because that atleast had an actual change on the world instead of a random mob you will probably never see in gameplay
Why can’t there be all three, but have the mob vote decide which one goes up first? Everyone will get something, it’s just a question of how long.
The title is clickbait.
Mob Vote should tell us which mob comes FIRST, second and last. Say, Armadillo was the first one added in, Penguin in the next update, and Crab in the update after that.
The mob vote should be like "we want to add a big dragon that will be a game changer, you guys would like it?" and we vote to yes or no
The problem is that they usually don't announce stuff before development has started and I think if the people vote for no by 51%. The community will get even angrier
They'll just say "ok, none of them, then."
It will never get canceled move on already
I think that the mob vote should work like the biome vote, where the one that wins gets added first and the other ones are saved for later
What if we get all 3 mobs in a mod vote instead of only 1
I mean if Mojang let some of the mobs from past mob votes get in more mob votes his game might be a bigger deal
Microsoft is literally 212 billion dollars and can’t add the Moobloom what is this crap
maybe instead of making a petition about removing the vote make a petition for adding mobs that lost in future updates
