LA Luffy and anime Luffy is abit different. LA Luffy is more heroic and selfless, anime Luffy is more outspoken and honest. LA cannot adapt anime Luffy without making him looks like an asshole.

The part with Zoro killing Cabaji's brother was LA only. Cabaji doesn't have a brother.
Haha I think Luffy is a person of action. He saw the problem that the mayor was going to get himself killed, so he took what he thought was the most straightforward solution: to knock him out so he couldn't. He doesn't always think things through, so that's why he makes sure to keep a crew of smart capable people around him so they can let him know when he goes too far
But sometimes his straightforwardness is exactly what is needed ^^

OH WOW! someone told me in the comment section of the live action about chouchou, but when they mentioned it, they didnt say his name "Chouchou" they just said the dog was an easteregg but I get it now! the way I look at it Zoro's Oni Giri is like Luffy's pistol- just a move name
The name of Zoro's sword style is santoryu in Japanese which translates to three sword style in English. Oni Giri basically translates to Demon Cutter or also as a pun a Japanese rice ball.

Is anyone else annoyed that the eyecatchers are playing with the wrong background music? I keep noticing it during your reactions, they probably hadn't established the theme songs for each character that early... 😅
Don't worry, Luffy will grow as time goes on. He's just so very immature right now but he'll learn to be more of an actual captain, especially when he meets more awesome people. 😁😁😁
In the Live Action when Cabaji enters the stage in episode 2 he comes riding in on a unicycle and also when he first enters the room with Zoro on the wheel. There was also a nod to Richie the Lion when Buggy entered telling his crew they messed up the performance he says "and where or where was the dancing lion". Lots of little lines in the Live Action that you'll probably catch now if you ever re-watch it. Could be a fun thing to do when the 2nd season is close to coming out.

Even after watching all the shows and being practically up to date, there is still a huge mystery surrounding Shanks. So you've got a long road of theorising his backstory and motivations ahead. :)

In the scene where Buggy is holding his subordinate by the neck he is using his chop chop powers but in the anime they didn't show his detached hand so that when they showed his powers later it would be a surprise. They do the same thing in the first episode where when the swords break when Alvida's men try attacking Luffy to show that he isn't normal and that he has some kind of special power so that later when they reveal his powers it's a surpise for Alvida and for the audience. It's still weird for sure tho.

1. The tiltes of an Episode might spoiler a bit, but since you have no context, i don't see that as a big issue ^^ . I read the titles all the time since i started 15 years ago, and still this doesn't make an Episode less enjoyable in my opinon, it's still one piece ^^ so everything is awesome anyway * _ *
2. 11:00 This close moments you were talking about, is one of the main appeals in this show, because without this feelings One Piece, wouldn't be One Piece :)
3. yeah the worldbuilding of One Piece is in general very insane ^^ but as you said, and I can clear your mind a bit, you will indeed see some sort of comparable things in the real world , no panic :D especially because you shouldn't forget the fact that even the master of storywriting Eiichiiro Oda had to take some inspiration , from somewhere beforehand ^^
