yeah..most of us do. i have seen the later generation escapes with rear fender well rust also. it seems to be a characteristic of the car, but if you don't have it yet, then you know that it can happen, so you protect the area now. another common and much more dangerous rust area is the passenger side rear shock mount, which can completely rust away and leave the top of your shock hanging free under there. it's so common that full replacement inner fenders are sold.
Gotta say, got myself an 07 zc xls escape and I've been looking around for anyone who's modded it. And honestly great job! It's so unique, I'm planning to do something similar down here in Australia. It to sure turn some heads ;) Once a again, props to you man. #maaadddd

I have 05 Escape V6 but my shift knob position at steering wheel side, not like you..are you V6 too? & i want lift up my escape not low..but hard to get the lift up kit, & i use Borla muffler no cat..sounds is pretty cool with stock headers

can you link where you got your headlight units??? i have an 03 3.6 v6 4x4 with led headlights, deleted exhaust, wide stacked all terrain tires and new american racing deep dish rims, getting fender flares and headlight units but i like yours a lot
Those head lights tho... and they only make those spec-D for 05 and up ...and just my luck cause I got an 04 lol. Although they can physically fit perfectly.. the wiring is different... dam... the headers are a good upgrade from the oem cat/manifold but in California it would be too much of a risk imo.. but magnaflow has a high flow stainless steel cat/manifold that's c.a.r.b legal and it's pretty good if looking for "legal performance"(I hate that term). I'm I California tho and c.a.r.b sucks with all its regulations..

My 02 escape came with the factory exhaust leak
My 03 had a fluid leak because the brake lining was rusted
