DIY Tire Sprayers (TRIPLE YOUR DRIFT CAR'S TIRE LIFE) |

Are you tired of spending loads of money on tires for your drift car? Or do you want to get the absolute BEST tire life that you can? Then this video is for you.
There are many variables involved with increasing tire life on your drift car; one of which is keeping your tires from overheating. That's why I'm installing tire sprayers so that I can spray water onto my tires after each lap!
In order to accomplish this, I'm using a universal windshield washer bottle kit to pump water through a nozzle. However, I changed the nozzle that came with the kit in favor of a misting nozzle. This helps distribute the water more evenly while also reducing the amount of wasted water.
On top of that, I installed a second unit to serve as an emergency cooling sprayer in case my water or oil temps get too high.

I only did this anytime I ran slicks auto crossing. Never thought of extending tire life but it prevents damage from the soft compound clumping and picking up debris off track. I dont think it helps much on a street tire. The good thing you did was set it up for a one man show. Since you have to do it ASAP and while your rolling. I always had someone ready to spray once I get off course.

Don’t use those misters on the radiator and coolers, the heat destroys the nozzles. Find a fan spray windshield wiper nozzle works like a charm👌🏽 haven’t found a way to minimize the water usage tho😅
