  • Hey guys it's my first video for 2021!
    I wanted to stay in my comfort zone with another balayage video. This time though working on strawberry blonde and emphasising a face frame!
    I'm excited to show you some new techniques, maybe some more styling this year. Don't forget to subscribe and follow us on Instagram for daily content.
    Brooke hadn't had her hair done for 2 years and her previous service was a scalp bleach. I wanted to work with her gorgeous natural base colour and really accentuate the strawberry blonde tones. Working with my foil board, I went pretty heavy with the foils to create a lot of lightness, concentrating my foil placements to achieve a face frame.
    Her hair responded very well to the lightening process and the condition of her hair was really strong - I was able to remove the foils after around 30 minutes.
    I am obsessed with the result!
    Formula:
    @Original Mineral
    back section - ammonia free powder lightener with 10 vol
    front section- ammonia free powder lightener with 20 vol
    toner -
    v section roots 7 and 9.5 and 8.34 with 1.5%
    ends 9.5 and 8.34 with 1.5%
    I always add 'cor restore' with my toners after lightening!
    Foils - @Foil Me

    Gorgeous golden blonde, but not seeing a lot of strawberry, definitely golden. Magnificent highlights - really beautiful!

      Strawberry blonde is mainly golden, a lot of the time the red is quite faint and is just an undertone which contributes to the rich colour of strawberry blonde, a lot of people mix it up with rose gold or copper blonde but they are complexly different colours, this is definitely a strawberry blonde

      @@blushgirl. I have a quick question for you....do you have a go to base bump formula for a level 5? I asked Wayne Lewis...he says 8.81 w/20vol. Thoughts??

  • @AceMurderOfficial

    How long did you let the bleach process for after you were done if you don’t mind sharing? 🤓 Also why not start from the front if the face frame has to be lighter? Thanks!

    • @blushgirl.
      @blushgirl.  3 года назад +1

      heya i leave it on about 30 mins and i never start from the front because i dont want the front hair to be damaged and left on to long its easier to wash out the back if needed to leave front on do you start at the front

    Beautiful job, but definitely isn’t strawberry blonde. I see a slight tinge but not really. I know, as I have beautiful strawberry blonde that’s completely natural. My mom is a red head and father has nearly platinum hair.. hence how I ended up with strawberry I suppose. Lol
    Nevertheless though, the hair color is beautiful on your client.

      There are many varieties of strawberry blonde, this for example is more like my natural strawberry blonde hair, where the red is definitely present but a faint undertone and the hair is predominantly golden, that does not stop it from being strawberry blonde
