Bro's, you'll love their "Can't Get Enough", "Feel Like Makin' Love", "Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy" and more!!! Paul Rodgers on lead vocals, one of the great rock voices of all-time!
Shooting Star is a great song, too.
Y would they remove silver blue and gold, it's a bad ass song
@@angelagraves865 absolutely! that's the 'and more' LOL
Don't forget Running with the Pack.
All great songs add silver blue and gold in there as well and seagull.
It's only amazing that somebody is hearing this for the first time.
Crazy how fast you recognized how special Paul Rodgers voice is. Over here he is considered THE best voice in Rock.
I gotta agree that this is one of the greatest rock songs. Try to imagine how we felt when this came on the radio back in the 70's. It stopped us in our tracks.
This is one of those albums that was in almost everyone's collection and was played front to back all the time. Truly a classic.
Certainly was by me at the time but then,I was a huge Free fan before Bad Co.
Absolutely, always takes me back to times long ago with friends playing Bad Co over and over - brilliant
@@leebay6093 Yeah, I would always make the dad joke with my friends when they asked what I wanted to listen to, "Bad Company by Bad Company from Bad Company."
Absolutely! A banger in its entirety!
BAD COMPANY, by Bad Company, from the album Bad Company. A song so good they named it three times.
This group was called “ Free” starting out….Listen to their hit “ Alright Now”.
Free was a different band. When Free split up, Paul Rodgers and Simon Kirke went on to form Bad Company.
For me, this band is unbelieveably beautiful since the first time I ever heard their music.
Bad Company, always celebrated positive and powerful masculinity, the healthy kind.
We all need more of that.
Their lyrics always had strong meanings.
Guys, this whole debut album is great start to finish. You should do a reaction to the whole thing. Ready for love , way that I choose, and don’t let me down some of their best work
"Ready for love." That is their best song IMO. Epic band....
Ranks up there with Boston's debut...
I also requested "The way I choose" and ''Don't Let me down" (also "Movin On)
It's one of the best debut albums I've ever heard. I got it up there with Boston's, Skynyrd's, Zeppelin's and a few others as one of those debuts that is perfect from start to finish.
@@hog7203 Guns and Roses beat out Boston for the top selling debut album after 11 years....
But GnR had Mtv and a larger population to help them out.
@@2869may that makes sense. Especially considering the only way anyone knew of Boston was from the radio, and word of mouth. I'm surprised Pearl Jam's debut isn't near the top. That's a good one. I like G&R, but I'm biased towards Boston. My personal favorite debut is the Outlaws. Love their sound.
Paul Rodgers - definitely on the Mt Rushmore of rock singers !!! 😎
One of my all time favorite bands. Paul Rodger is an amazing singer. Other Bad Company suggestions: Rock Steady, Burning Sky (live versions), Can't Get Enough, Live for the Music and Ready for Love. More worthwhile songs Feel Like Makin Love, Good Lovin Gone Bad, Deal with the Preacher, Movin' On, Honey Child, Gone Gone Gone and Rock and Roll Fantasy. Also, check out Paul Rodgers and drummers first band called Free. Check out All Right Now, Wishing Well, Fire and Water, Woman, The Hunter and more
"Don't Let Me Down" and "The Way I Chose"....
The Firm ~ "Satisfaction guaranteed".....!
Everyone played Bad Company in the 70’s brilliant band ❤
The 70's had some of the best kick ass music you will ever hear. I'm so grateful I was a teenager at this time and got to see all these bands and love their music then and now at 62 years old. Time to go down the Bad Company rabbit hole. Great reaction bros ❤
Paul Rogers is known as one of the best vocalists in Rock, even now.
When you consider the time when Bad Co. formed and produced this amazing and iconic album was around 50 years ago, it's still incredible today. Massive shout out to Paul Rodgers, one of the finest rock voices we ever produced here in the UK.
,Back in the 70s we were listening to stuff like this every week.Great reaction guys
The great thing is Paul Rodgers still sounds that good to this day. If anything he sounds even better now his voice has matured if that could ever seen possible.
Feels like this is an old western group of outlaws with a bad reputation. Great song.
Paul Rodgers is one of very few rock singers to still have an excellent voice.
Great choice!
Also, Boz Scaggs.
RIght away, I waited to see George lose it - knowing exactly when it would happen......and Patrick jumped on board, or should I say "fell over", too. And you're not wrong.
Bad Company!!! Great song! Paul Rodgers is known today as one of the great voices of classic rock. It is epic that Queen chose Paul Rodgers for their first tour without Freddie - they respected him that much! "Feel Like Makin' Love", "Good Lovin' Gone Bad", "Can't Get Enough", "Burnin' Sky" are some more of their classics. Great reaction guys - thanks!!!
Feel Like Makin' Love will knock your socks off! This is from an era when true artists sounded as good in their garage as in a stadium. Paul Rodgers voice is legendary. A perfect combo of velvet and grit.
This is the song I always choose when I do my over-the-top DJ impression: "Now coming to you from the album Bad Company, from the group Bad Company....it's....Bad Company"
Whole Album"GOOSEBUMPS!!!!" PLEASE DO MORE! LOVE THIS BAND! ❤️🙏🏻👍🏻😍
So glad you guys got the same reaction I got as a kid 45 years Ago! Yep, listen to it over and over... hear the guitar, the power, the sliding leads, how he whips he feel of the song all over, then the bass... so expressive, drums are spot on and add so much, and of course THE VOICE. Later you hear all the stuff they added... percussion especially, to create the feeling. All time great, and they did the same things on many many others... have fun exploring their albums!
I always get happy at how excited ya'll are when you listen to the songs I grew up with. Thank you for appreciating and rocking out with us.
I got into Paul Rodgers with Bad Company and Free over 40yrs ago when i was in my 20's. Still love it. Rodgers voice.Wow!!😁
The magical sound of the classic 70’sFIRE🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is a really great band. Wonderful singer! Check out the band Free...this singer is the singer! Their song Alright Now was phenomenal!
Free were so much better than Bad Company. Much more soul and blues.
I played this song countless times before riding out to arranged street fights in my young ages🤪
Yet ANOTHER legendary British band, and Paul (the voice) Rodgers with soul a-plenty.
The entire album is awesome !!! 💖💖
“Burning Sky” and “Silver, Blue and Gold”. (Along with probably another 50 songs. Paul Rodgers could sing a grocery store list and make it sound cool!😎
One of my favorite songs. HOWEVER...you REALLY MUST react to this live, b/c Paul does a FABULOUS job on the piano that's not on the album.
Paul Rodgers is one of my favorite Lead Vocalists, of all-time.
These are the songs and bands of my youth. I LOVE watching you guys discover the phenomenal music of my youth. Man, was I lucky. I got to see all these bands live, in concert.
What a voice,what a band!
Paul Rodgers (vocals) + Simon Kirke (drums) - both from FREE + Boz Burrell (bass, ex-King Crimson) + Mick Ralphs (guitar, Mott the Hoople) = great band, awesome song
Paul Rodgers one of the greatest voices in Rock. Still going strong! Check out Seagull, Ready For Love, Shooting Star, Feel Like Making Love.
I grew up on this music love your passion and respect 🙏 for the music
A classic by a great band
Just listen to every song!!!
17 yrs old , Saturday night, back country dirt road, huge bonfire, 50 other friends , blasting this album, everyone singing...praying the cops leave us alone (they usually did)
Paul Roger's, one of the greatest rock vocalists of all time. And, he's even better live.
I was born April 1954. The same month/year as Rock N Roll. I grew up with the Greatest Music In History. The 60s set the table for the 70s and the early 80s and we all thrived on the best bands ever making incredible music, before it all started to go Digital with forms of noise I refuse to call music.
In the past when I heard a song on the radio I couldn’t wait to hear it again ASAP….. Today when I listen to the top 40 stations I usually think… I never want to hear that crap ever again. Things have changed a lot since the 60s.
Couldn’t have put it better myself.
I’m the senior here tho bro by 3mths,born Jan ‘54 and lived and loved it all.
The best era in history and we soaked it up here in the UK as you guys did across the pond.
I consider myself to be a blessed boomer.
Todays soulless garbage is an insult, and what’s with this warbling robotic style of “singing” they have today?
Rubbish, besides,I’m STILL discovering music from that wonderful era,why would I want to waste my life listening to Kanye fkg West and all the other modern crap?
Exactly.
@@TheCornishCockney Good Day to you. Music started to go bad in the mid 80s. Here is opinions from some great iconic rockers....The WHO….. “The Kids Are Alright” Tour 1989. Rich Stadium Buffalo N.Y…….. AWESOME
After the concert the Who were being interviewed on the local radio station and the DJ asked the band…. “So what do you think about that new RAP music coming out”…. Roger Daltrey laughed and started to answer when John Entwistle said….. “let me answer this one….. It seems to me that if you can’t write music, can’t play music, can’t sing music, if you know absolutely nothing at all about music, well then, you do rap now don’t you”….. Then. Pete Townshend said….. “If Hitler was going to come back and torture the world again he would use rap music. Roger Daltrey laughed and said…. “Isn’t that the truth”
@@AliasMark69 I saw The Who at the legendary Isle of Wight festival,1970.
Hendrix,The Doors,Moody Blues were also appearing.
At the time, being there as a 16yr old,I didn’t realise I was in the middle of a cultural explosion in its infancy and driven by the fantastic 60’s.
I do now.
@@TheCornishCockney We grew up at the right time for great music.
Paul Rodgers is one of the best vocalist out there
Patrick and George- I’ll tell you what movie this song comes from:
It’s the one that played in the movie of sooo many of our lives - growing up in America. Thousands and millions of young lives all the way from our youth.. transitioning thru our lives into middle age and beyond. Didn’t matter they were from England.. they SOUNDED American! No matter where we were from - this is one of those great 70’s songs we all heard on our Rock radio stations more times than we can count. Great memories. Great songs to love. ♥️
Bad Company are one of the great English rock supergroups who've been around since the 70's. They have so many great songs such as "Can't Get Enough", "Good Lovin' Gone Bad", "Feel Like Makin' Love", "Ready For Love", "Shooting Star", "Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy" etc.
Check out their song "Ready For Love."
I've got a feeling, that you guys will love Bad Company's songs. Simple Man, Live for the Music, Good lovin' gone Bad and many more.
"Simple Man" especially live version is fantastic.
One of my all time favorite songs. Been waiting on this reaction from you guys. You didn't disappoint. Love this whole album.
Thank you thank-you!! Loved this song as a teen. Anything Paul Rodgers is perfect. Seagull should be next!!
I grew up listening to this because my dad loved Bad Company and now I love them and now my kids love them!!!!! Now I just need to get my grandsons on board!!!! They already love good music at ages 7 and under!!!
What great music we had as teenagers growing up ! How Lucy we are .
In the sky with diamonds?
Simon Kirke's drumming - under the radar clever.
That logo is burned into my brain. So is the record. There are some great cuts on this
album. Paul Rodgers has the perfect blues/rock voice. Anything off this LP is worth
checking out.
Bad Company! One of my favorite bands! ✌🏻💙
When I listen to Bad Co., my neighbors *also* listen to Bad Co. 😈
Welcome to the lyrical genius of Paul Rogers. My first concert ever was FREE, Paul Rogers first huge smash success band.
Everyone reacts to Bad Company and largely ignores the band that Paul Rogers and Simon Kirke made their names with first - Free. Some suggestions Wishing Well, Fire and Water, The Stealer, Alright Now (the only song that anyone reacts too), I'm A mover, Mr Big and Travellin Man. I love Bad Company but (and I hope I won't get slaughtered for this) they don't have the soul and blues of Free a big part of which was down to Andy Frasor (bass) and Paul Kossoff (lead). If you listen to Free you will instantly get where Bad Company came from.
Free were brilliant, I had the singles of Wishing Well and All Right Now. They were often on Top of the Pops in the UK. Great band, but I love Bad Company too and their music.
This Is probably Bad Co’s best song. Next up - You NEED to listen to Bad Co’s “Good Lovin Gone Bad. Good old fashioned kick ass rock ‘n roll.
This is what I grew up listening too....See your parents were cool! Loved Bad Company!!!
🎸💯 Bad Company ROCKS OUT‼🔥🤯
You guys should dive deep into this incredible group‼☮ ❤ 🎶
Seagull is my favorite Bad Company song. Brings back memories of my youth. Great reactions guys.
Seagull is pure heart with a dose of soul. Such an affirming finale.
All Bad Company's songs are worth listening to just for Paul Rodgers' voice. Check out his first band, Free.
This is at the top of my list and to think it is almost a half century (48 years) old.
LMAO! "when I listen to this song, I will shut my fvcking mouth...."
One of the greatest slow bangers ever.
I was standing right up against the stage in San Fransico when Bad Company played there. It was fantastic!!
Deep dive them. Paul Rodgers, one of the best voices in rock.
Paul Rodgers has a great voice!
Gone, gone, gone and rock steady my favorites by bad company
Love me some Bad Company .... so many great songs. Top 5 band more me. "Feel Like Making Love", "Shooting Star", "Rock n Roll Fantasy", "Seagull", "Simple Man", "Running with the Pack", Fade Away", "Ready for Love", "Silver Blue and Gold", and a bunch more. Fantastic group. They were the first signed band by Swan Song Records (Led Zeppelin's label)
Guys, Paul Rodgers is lead singer, also with Free- Alright now!
Yet another song I know so well from the 1970s! I love this song, haven't heard it for a long time. Other great songs from Bad Company include Can't Get Enough, Feel Like Makin' Love, Shooting Star and Seagull (I had a lot of their singles). The vocalist with Bad Company, Paul Rodgers, a great singer, I first remember him from the band Free (1968-1971), favourite songs, All Right Now and Wishing Well. Paul also sang with Queen from 2004-2009, I've watched some live videos on RUclips and he can certainly belt out the Queen songs. Not the same as Freddie of course, but pretty good! You obviously loved this song, guys, I don't blame you, it's a cracker! Thanks so much for your reaction, always enjoyable. Take care now.
the first 3 albums weere awesome just wait try = the song shooting star became AN ANTHEM you will love it !!!
Love this song!! Love you guys too! 💖
One of my favs! Paul Rodgers voice. mmm, mmm, mm
Soundtrack of my youth. This played at all the house parties.
Ready for love..the whole album
is brilliant.
Lots of great suggestions here for Paul Rodgers, but I would do "Alright Now" next. It was recorded by Rodgers' and his former band "Free" and one of the greatest rock songs ever. And really showcases Rodgers' voice.
Bad Company "HOW ABOUT THAT" is a great song. 👍🏻
Love this band!! Paul Rodgers...amazing!!
Love it, ty!! 😂❤👍🏽🥳
Did you know that Bad Company was signed to the Swan Song label and was managed by Peter Grant? Also, did you know that Paul Rodgers and Jimmy Page formed a band called The Firm in 1984? Released two albums and toured a fair amount. I think it was Paul who approached Jimmy, who was having a terrible time of it after Zeppelin ceased….depression, drugs…..and it was a way of getting Jimmy back into playing live again. I will always be grateful to Rodgers for doing that. Jimmy went on to do his solo album, Outrider, and then his collaboration with David Coverdale, which otiduced an excellent album btw…..and then of course, reunited with Plant for No Quarter…..It would be great if you reacted to a few songs from The Firm and/or Coverdale/Page.
"SATISFACTION GAURANTEED"...!
Bad Co. was also the first band signed to Swan Song.
This song IS Bad Company, the rest of their OTHER great songs could have been done by a number of their peers. I honestly don't see anybody else pulling this off.
Oh jeez….I had this album….I wore it out in 1980-81😁😎❤️😘😘
This is Rock and Roll right here
Oh yeah like previously mentioned Feel like Making Love!!
I knew you were both gonna love it and I wasn't wrong! I suggest you listen to what everyone is telling you in the comments. They are all the kind that get in you soul and make your blood flow!
Just good rock and roll. If you want to hear them unplugged listen to Seagull.
It's always reminded me of what Modern Day Cowboys would listen to.
Paul Roger's voice is very distinct and love his music. He still had his voice the last time I saw him perform.❤ many great songs he made.
That album is gold….
I'm so glad I got to see your first taste of Paul Rogers! Quite a singer, huh? This band had us mesmerized in the '70s. Countless major hits. My favorite was "Wild Fire Woman" Enjoy!!
This song is an old classic. 3,-3-:
Bad Co...the greates Rock vinil all time....🎸
One of my favorite songs they do. Bad Company has a great catalog of music. You'll love what they have for you to listen to. Can't help but sing this song when it's on. Love your reactions.
This is your western gunslinger song. I’m thinking Billy “The Kid”, Doc Holliday, Jesse James, and so on.
Saw them in mid 70s. This song sounds like Southerners ("rebels") with their six gun at the end of the Civil War with nothing to go home to anymore. So they vow to die with the gun. Many did just that robbing trains and banks. Many went west or to the Indian Territories that would become Oklahoma, much later in the 20th Century.
The first Concert I ever went to, Bad Company Straight Shooter Tour in '75, they played the entire first Album as well. You Two will Love, "Burning Sky" "Electricland" and Many Others.
"Don't Let Me Down" and "The Way I Chose"....
The Firm ~ "Satisfaction guaranteed".....!
BUMP...!
You guys should check out Shooting Star & Rock n Roll Fantasy, if you haven’t already 🔥🔥🔥
Same record label as Zeppelin. Swan Song.
