Why did they not mention Tapper (Bronze from lane 9} Her form was absolutely perfect. She literally skimmed over the hurdles at about 1" clearance. You should re-watch the final to appreciate how perfect and beautiful it was. She is so short that she had to have technically perfect form.

Because as I know. The olympic athletes are such superhumans. We don't have to inspire from them. Rather we should inspire from average athletes. That seems real.
But, from my experience, those who were qualified to compete in such event, are actually those who were lucky to avoid injuries and mental pressure and many bad things during training.
For me, the olympic level is not a sport with plaisir. It's a war. Bad war Hhhh but we focus only on the winner. It's not the real image.

It is shocking to know that this is the first time that a female won a Olympic medal in the hurdlers. You had Bridget Foster Hlyton 09 and Danielle Williams 15 who are former world champions in the event and won other medals at the world championship. Dolleren Ennis London won several medals at the world Championship too. I wonder why they have never medal at the Olympics. Well done to Megan Tapper to become the first Jamaican women to medal at the Olympics it was long over due

The national anthem is from Puerto Rico, not Costa Rica. Therefore, it is the Puerto Rican anthem, not Costa Rican.

This happened just 11 months ago, who would have thought Tobi Amusan would have a new world record now?

Did Jasmine have to check her stride before the 10th hurdle?! That's amazing judgement if she had to. To be able to think and adjust so quickly.

Yes! And she had to take her leap further back than she probably wanted and still cleared the hurdle. I mean, she literally pulled back a bit and still beat the field by a considerable margin. Simply amazing!
