hello, i have a product from Chuwi and it's still running after 4 yers. It's a manufacturer that ofer product at a real price for the specs, not like other that you pay the brand not the quality.
Do NOT buy anything from Chuwi. I paid for a Ubook with a 2160x1440 screen and they sent me one with a 1920x1080 screen. They also didn't send me the keyboard and stylus I paid for. When I complained the customer support person literally said, "Have you tried it? It's a really nice tablet." WTF? I PAID for a 2160x1440 screen tablet, I'm not going just accept this substandard 1920x1080 one! And I still don't have the keyboard and stylus I paid for. If you want to waste your money go ahead, I'm just warning you about them.
Hi Teoh - How is your stylus doing? - I have the device now (Thanks to your great review). But i just can't use the stylus as it is for handwriting notes. Yours is the only review that has gone into this issue in detail. But there are others on the Chuwi forum reporting similar things....
Teo I got my iPad gen 9. But I might pick up this one too. I like having a desktop operating system. I ended up getting a Logitech crayon because the Apple Pencil I got on eBay didn’t work right.
did anyone try running linux on this one? I suppose that will help improve the performance a ton, and did anyone try using this for coding, especially mobile app dev? I am think of buying one for travel. great review sir.
Hi, I have been watching your channel for a while. Always love your review, especially about ipad or drawing tablet. I am just wondring what camera do you use to record the screen? or what setting do you use? I own fuji and sony mirrorless camera, but I am having problem wih moire on the ipad/tablet sceen when recording. It looks like a messy lines on the screen. I have no idea how to fix this. Thanks for sharing
I'm using Panasonic GH4 with Olympus 12-50mm lens (with macro feature). For moire issue, first research online to see if it's a problem specific to your camera model. Because some camera sensors will have moire problem. Certain moire problems can be fixed by changing the focal length (zoom), or vary the distance the camera is from the subject.
@@teohontech7141 I see. I use fujifilm x100f and also sony a6300 with two fix lenses sigma 16mm and sigma 30mm. You are right about the distance. It just feels weird when I notice this after transferring the video to my PC. Also I didn't get this problem when I use my iPhone. Thanks for sharing anyway
Ubook X 2023? Nope, basically the same hardware, if you have and older model with celeron processor then probably yes, it is quite better but I prefer the 12" model honestly if you use it frequently in tablet mode, it's built better (doesn't make noises when pushing or twisting the chassis and kickstand is entirely metal) it's lighter and more compact to keep on hand, has the same specs you only lose the left USB A port
I bought the tablet for drawing. Overall. I'm satisfied by it, also it seems you used zero calibration, because I've downloaded clip studio paint and it worked without any jitter. But I have a problem with overheating, that's all
Hello It advertised with the possibility to upgraded with 1TB ssd. It's true? If yes how this can be made? There is expansion slot or you order it with 1 TB capacity? Thanks
Hi! Can you turn off pressure sensitivity in onenote? My samsung tab cannot turn off pressure sensitivity and I really do not like nonuniform thickness in onenote android.
If you're an artist you'll love the 3:2 dimension since it's what most visual arts paper follows. 16 x 24, 24 x 36 (classes love this on easels), the ever popular 8 x 12. Perhaps your use-case isn't the same as most viewers here
Thanks for vid! Love your unbias review. They trying to sale "this" with overprice like something cool with old processor, and everything crunches like cheap stuff(of course not all of them) no matter ubook or pro version i take look both and also one from my freind. Interesting that based on low rate comments of buyers - more often you could see that company has no normal support, they or ignore or try to convince you broke it. But most of the low rate view about the exact disgusting return service. You could find even on their youtube channel comments of that they ignore, imagine came to the youtube segment only 'cause they ignore you at support when it dead with no reason. P.s. I don't why most of the asian tech company suffer with this problem for decades - they do great product, good for the price but always f***ed up you with real service even with comparison with other bad service. People would buy that product more if company radically change marketing strategy with real investment on guaranties.
Probably because shipping from China out is inexpensive, but covering customers shipping cost for returning is very expensive, especially for shipping heavy products. Whenever, I buy electronics from China companies, I would just assume there's no warranty. So that's the risk with all these budget products.
I wish all reviews gave the BOTTOM LINE summary early in the review like you!
Yeah, and surprisingly I still stay till the end, as I’m after the nuance.
Really clear and concise review! Thanks!
I have a surface go 1 that I have been looking to possibly upgrade. This caught my eye.
Excellent review - thank you for the detailed tests and mentioning this can be charged by usb c.

Where did you get it from?

I no longer have this unit. But from my tests, pen won’t work initially and will need time to wake up
Hello. Very nice review. Does it support other 3rd party pens? Can it possibly improve the line quality? Thank you
Not sure about third party pen. Probably not

I have a Ubook X. Is it worth the upgrade?

How's your experience with this tablet and Clip studio after some use? How's the pen in Clip studio?
Hello
It advertised with the possibility to upgraded with 1TB ssd. It's true? If yes how this can be made? There is expansion slot or you order it with 1 TB capacity?
Thanks
Thanks for the review, gonna try with python, intellij and some Lol tomorrow, if it can handle them, then it will pass the test
How is it? Thinking to buy to learn programming to become web developer
non X version 10 Gen GPU 🤔 maybe working more speed?
Hello nice review. Can you play Genshin impact with this? Does it run?
I did not test that.Anyway, I don't expect it to run Genshin Impact smoothly even if it can. This is not a gaming laptop
Can this be used as a second (extendable) screen to a laptop?
Yes with some software. Can’t remember the name. But there will be noticeable lag

Not that I know of
If i use other pen like surface pens will it perform better?
Those pens will not work here
Can you charge it using Type C? I have Xiaomi's 67W charger from my Redmi K60
Does not support USB-C charging
@@teohontech71412:15 you said it does, and so does other review channels and on their official site
I have a ubook x and it supports charging via USB type-C, it must be set in the bios
wonder if there is a HIGHER grade version with BETTER panel ?
The colours look good enough. So it's the max brightness at 200 nits that's lacking, but still good for use indoors.
Can this support a usb hub? so I can do more instead of just one usb port
Yes it can
Thank you for the help!@@teohontech7141 I was considering this for my work, and I have to use a regular usb type headset and usd to RJ45 adapter
Memory is cheap these days. Why can't they just make it with 16GB RAM?
Hi, tanks for review, the connection characteristics include WiFi: 2.4G/5G, is it possible to insert a telephone SIM for data connection?
No sim support
Hi! Does it have a microsoft office pre-installed in it?
No
Well, that's a bummer. I may have to get some support for the installation if my order arrives.
Thanks 😊.
Love this laptop but honestly don't like the dimensions of the screen
What’s wrong with the dimensions?
If you're an artist you'll love the 3:2 dimension since it's what most visual arts paper follows. 16 x 24, 24 x 36 (classes love this on easels), the ever popular 8 x 12. Perhaps your use-case isn't the same as most viewers here

How noisy is the fan? And heatwise how does it behave?
Oh. There are no fans. It will get hot when charging. For office type work it's just slightly warm
Please try world of warcraft 🙏🏻
Damn you said 2023 review. That thing has some Thick ass bezels. I dont want it
damn that camera on the back is ugly
2023 with a 10th gen CPU. Really?
They can put the latest CPU but that will make the tablet more expensive.
Surface Go 3 is a tablet from Microsoft that sells over 600 and it only has a 256gb ssd 8gb ram and an i3 10th gen.
this is designed as a tablet so ideally, a low power cpu would be a good fit. Put an i7 and you won't be able to touch it. Does it make sense?
