I am not bothered by amoled or lcd, my priority is the high resolution and reasonable price. I like the Xiaomi pad 6 with its high resolution and I set the background to dark mode, wowee 😊
IPS LCD will outlive those amoled screens.
we r on the same page , great HDR + and dolby vision display great 4 speaker sound very reasonable so much so that sold my apple mini 6 and got this one .

ngl, THE IPS LCD on PAd 6 is much bbetter than my standard cheap acer and Asus x441MA laptop's LCD. But the downside of using LCD is, not really good if using 3rd party stylus for drawing. very very recomended to buy the official pen.

@@jonathanwolfboy7329my gaming experience with this tablet is brilliant I've been playing PUBG Mobile Everyday using this tablet since i bought it 3 months ago. Its performance is seamless, you can play PUBG mobile with the highest graphic setting in the 90 FPS smoothly.
If you're not bothered with the UI quirkiness, it is worth buying
@@jonathanwolfboy7329 bro the Samsung tab is worse for gaming, the Xiaomi pad uses snapdragon 870 which is a good processor for its price, it could definitely run these games more smoothly than the Samsung tablets. Or I would just suggest getting a Poco f5, it's faster than the pad 6 and Samsung tablets with the same price.

I have this tablet. I love it, it is excellent for education, websurfing, taking notes and watching videos on netflix/youtube. However it has one big issue. You can easely use tablet for taking handwritten notes BUT when you want to sync your notes with Xiaomi Cloud there is a problem. Handwritten notes are not supported for some reason, so you cannot view them on your PC, or your laptop and you dont have actually backup of them. This is something nobody talks about.

@@cynthiaedora7373 It supports both. In Netflix app, in settings I found information about HDR, Dolby Vision support. Tablet display is capable of showing 1080p content.

I have this tablet for 3 weeks and it's very good. I use it for emulating PS2 and other retro console games like GameCube.

Definitely! With a Snapdragon 870, it can run most GC and PS2 games smoothly, but even some Switch and Wii games.

Games run based on the chip. Ipad 9 has far better chip than xiomi pad. Did you even use ipad 9?
Its more of a CODM issue with dogshit optimization plenty of androids have crashing issue and run slower frame dips here and there

My PAD6 just arrived, but it didn't come with a pen. New delivery date 2024(!). This can not be true. Cheapest offer from 98 euros, but also without an appointment. Does anyone know of an alternative that works well? Acompatible pen that was realy tested on the PAD6? Unfortunately, none of the pens that I use with other tablets work. Not even the PAD5 one works for me. Without a pen, I can't use the device. And send it back. Does anyone have a hint? Excellent battery life. Been using it for 6 months for note taking with pencil. Gaming. Watching movies with EEMC. and attending meetings. Still get 2 days backup
Why not go for Huawei if you need an office, they got a WPS PC. But yeah, no google tho.

Xiaomi pad 6 has sd870 which is more than 2yrs old. Now older chips might not support newer Androids. Also Xiaomi never promised any software update particularly for pad 6. So no guarantee on os update side.
The regular pad 6 has old chip. The pro version has snapdragon 8+ gen 1,which is still good and closer to the new gen 2 performance. And they have said they will give upto 3yrs support for updates (but that was announced in China).

The not-backwards compatiblity with the previous pen, is NOT a downside. That pen was bad. Almost everyone who uses a pen on a pad, is for drawing and for that it wasn't just not so good, it was flat out bad.
Xiaomi acknowledge this and just ditch the old and came with a new good one.
This is good work from Xiaomi. A new pad shouldn't be bothered with backward compatibilty for a bad product.
