_-Wait 'till you see it..._
_-See what?_
_-What a man can do to another man._
It's such a simple line, but it's quite profound
There's a video on You Tube called The Fallen of World War II that counts the soldier and civilian deaths for each country in the war. It's extremely impactful, at least for me it was. Millions upon millions. I highly recommend that video, especially since these guys have seen a few WWII movies now.
The Common Man Show has a reaction video of that if you haven't seen it 💯💯
Not feeling good today feeling very weak and laying in bed. But I'm so grateful to see my 2 favorite gorgeous and precious men again to keep my spirits up. Naveed and Mansoor if only you knew what a blessing you are to the many people who watch and follow you. Blessings as always and abundance to this channel and everyone who keeps this continuously growing. We love you brothers!
Our pleasure!
🙏
This movie when it came out was shocking for a lot of people. Because in America they never focused a lot on PTSD or "shell shock" if that's what they called it back then. WW2 was evil, but it was a hero's story. Collectively we stopped the Nazi menace. Saving Private Ryan did a good job, but this one really hammered it in. Love the channel, love the content. Keep it up. American war movies are the best lol... it sounds terrible to say movies about war are good. But having been the only male member of my family who never served in the U.S. military its pretty neat. Thanks to my, Great Grandpa, Grandpa, Dad, older Brother, and uncle and many more for their service. Goes back 100 years for my family in the U.S. military lol. I suck for not doing it haha
Another Award winning World War 2 movie that shows the horrors of war is EMPIRE of the SUN
A WW 2 movie set in asia
A must see WW 2 movie
Love your channel 😊
7:18 These "lasers" are special bullets called Tracers. They burn while they fly, so it's easy to see for everyone where to shoot and adjust.
Also great for giving away your own position to the enemy! You will draw all of your enemy's fire upon you.
@@elessartelcontar9415 Well, if both sides are doing it does it really matter?
Awesome reaction of my favorite movie!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊
I was hoping this would of been one of those longer videos i been waiting for this one
I believe this takes place sometime near the end of the war. With less solders to pull from, the Nazies began to conscript children and the old to "fight for the fatherland". 12:45 Tiger tanks were REALY scary back then, with frontal chassis so thick it was unbeatable from the front and a really bug gun, it was the crashing hammer of the Wehrmacht.
😅😅 nope! The Soviet Union used the female personification "mother russia" or "motherland". In Germany it's a male personification as "fatherland".
das Land ist männlich, das Vaterland.
Vaterland (Fatherland) was a nationalistic term used in Nazi Germany to unite Germany in the culture and traditions of ancient Germany.
lol thanks for the correction about the father land. They still conscripted sadly.
@@elessartelcontar9415
A great movie loosely inspired by the story of Audie Murphy if I remember correctly.
I think the young German soldier that saw Norm recognized his youth and was like Norm was at the start of the movie - still innocent of the horrors of war. I lived in Germany for 4 years and my neighbor was an elderly man who was a kid during the war. His older brother, age 14, was drafted in February 1945 and died in the last week of fighting in Berlin.
Such an underrated movie! Very well done... Other than the tiger scene it was very realistic aswell! One of my favs
The Tiger Tank, or Panzerkampfwagen, Panzer for short was like the Terminator Tank of its day. The German's military tech was more advanced in certain ways than the Allies and the Tiger was a prime example, one that was feared among all who had to fight one.
Until you tried to drive it and it's gearbox exploded 😂
Eight weeks might have been a little short, considering travel times, but the US was rushing men through training. Losses were higher than expected, so a lot of men ended up in infantry or tanks regardless of what they had been trained for. Sometimes these men barely knew how to operate their rifle or had physical issues that should have disqualified them for combat arms, or the Army altogether.
Been told that meeting Brad Pitt in real life is something else. He has this super famous aura about him, also been told he is nice guy and a bit goofy
By now anyone who is a fan of Fury knows that the tank "Fury" is armed with a 76mm and could easily go through a Tiger from the front, but I'm only just now realizing that the third tank also has a 76mm.
"easily" is a bit enthusiastic but its still true enough that it wasn't as underpowered as the early variants, and had the theoretical ability to penetrate an unangled facing on a Tiger I
@@Spikeelsucko It's not theoretical at all. The 76 mm T4 APCR could pen 208mm of RHS at 500 meters. Even at an angle that round is going through no problem.
@@remster5284 that's very true, it just was not super common to have access to any composite rigid type shells if you weren't in very specific places and times
"peterson may have.died"...dude..peterson was f##$d in a matter of seconds
Have them react to Full Metal Jacket. Probably one of the best American war movies ever made.
Love that Naveed and Mansoor are developing a great film knowledge to draw from, comparing sequences and characters to older movies. This channel is great keep up the good work 🍿
Oh no. Mansoor's emotions are going to get pulled through the wringer in this one.
This movie is extremely dramatised and unrealistic, but I do appreciate the scene where Norman is forced to murder the prisoner. It's extremely rare to see war films that openly acknowledge the fact that the allies committed war crimes just like the axis powers did.
Ok simmer down pal
Funny they mentioned Star Wars and lasers; George Lucas studied WW2 battle footage as inspiration for Star Wars and that's how he decided on the Rebels having red lasers on their fighter ships because the USA used red tracers and green for the Empire fighters as the German Nazis used green tracers. Every country has their own tracer colours so they knew who was shooting at who, Canada, Australia and the Brits had orange, Italy used yellow, France had white tracers etc. Tracers are just a hot phosphorous gas that change colour based on the main element used to ignite it, hydrogen, nitrogen etc., like neon lights. Sometimes the Germans would use stolen tracer rounds to trick enemies into thinking they were allies then mowing them down when they got within range.
There is another movie with a similar Last Defense theme called "ZULU" during the 1880's in South Africa.
Based on a true event.
17:45 You're the first reactors I've ever ever seen who understands what's going on here.
That tank battle was so epic!! Love this movie!! It wants you to play "World of Tanks" again.
The "laser lights" are tracer rounds, used to guide other gunners on where to fire. Problem is, they also tell the _enemy_ where to fire!
Fantastic! Great to see you fellows!
If you guys really loved this movie, there's a video you could react to (It's in english, i dunno if there's a translation for it) It's the "Fallen of WW2"
I took my mexican boss to go see this movie. We were both avid World of Tanks players. His favorite line was "You want to speak Mexican you should have joined a Mexican tank!"
Would love to see you react to "On Golden Pond" with Katharine Hepburn & Henry Fonda with Auntie Sobia, please. And "The Help" with Octavia Spencer and Viola Davis. Would love a woman's perspective of these 2 fine films and I think she'd like them.
Shows the Courage of all the men that fight for freedom being right or wrong. Just doing what there told.
The young German at the end left him because he was or is exactly like that at the beginning. I come from Germany and 90 percent of the soldiers didn't want this war
edit Great Reaction ^^
Crazy thing about this movie. It's based on a real man. An actual events.

I'm not a fan of war movies as they're very sad but it was nice to see their reactions and hear their perspectives
If it means anything. I don't know why wwII started America as being the police of the world, I can tell you this as a full breed American that hunts fish carry guns is that all everybody wants is to live in harmony. Not to have any bullshit and concerns about anything because some people are just terrible people.
This was a pretty decent WW2 movie. It starts off pretty strong with some great scenes, but kinda goes a bit downhill towards the end imo. That last scene was a bit over the top and fantastical for my liking. Everything from that SS Company just singing and marching down a road instead of putting up defensive positions and waiting for the Allies, to them just standing out in the open so they could get shot by one of the guns on the tank. These are supposed to be well trained soldiers, but I digress.
Not to mention the worlds worst tank crew in the Tiger, leaving concealment to drive towards the lighter and more agile tanks lmao
@@jefforymitchell5697 yea that too lol
This movie puts u in Norman's shoes, and takes u on his arc! Germany had much better equipment than the allies. Better handguns, the had even AK style rifles, but not yet mass produced, better shoulder fired rockets, better tanks better planes. If they hadnt attacked Russia, and if the americans hadn't won the battle of the Bulge, no way we win this war. Because they already had drone planes, drone rockets, were already working on mass producing jet fighters, and would have been nuclear by the end of 45. Sadly, Norman's prediction for Emma came true. best job i ever had means, i love u guys. Norman played the child in the great remake movie,3.10 to Yuma!! sort of based on a true story, the last battle. Type in here, Audie Murphy in WW2! The captain here was also bad colonel in The Patriot, and Ranger Captain in Blackhawk Down. Why did the German guy let Norman live? He proly knew the war was almost over, and just saw a young guy like himself, in Norman.
No, they absolutely not take civilians with them. Those women are on the other side and could shoot you or give you away to your enemy. They will at least distract you and
that could cause you to be killed by not being totally focused on fighting.
Are you guys brothers?
Great reaction video! Could you do a reaction to Disneys The Hunchback of Notre Dame soon if possible?!
Reactors:
"A lot of people dying in war!"
🙄
Wouldn't have guessed that, indeed.
They have no single, tiny clue about WW2 or what was said about the burning German city, when the reactors uttered that pearl of wisdom (amongst other, mind numbing sentences they said during this reaction).
Again my question:
Why are you not giving them a few history videos about those subjects to react to, before they are reacting to a history related cinema movie...instead of letting them say kindergarten nonsense about the shown war action and all that bim-bam-bum on the screen, where they have clearly no idea, what the difference between a Tiger and a Sherman was, why the Sherman had to get into the back of the Tiger...or why there is a war in the first place.
A great movie to watch is THE MONUMENTS MEN 2012). Based on a true story about retrieving stolen art from N@zis. Stars Bill Murray, Matt Damon, and George Clooney
Thanks.
