Riga - Still Worth To Visit In 2024

At the end of our trip to Latvia, we finally are in Riga. There has been a lot of change around that shocked me, since the last time when I visited Riga was ages ago.
In this video we are pushing through the Dome Square and entering it from the scenic hanging bridge connecting Pārdaugava to the very center of Latvia's capital Riga.
If there's something I'd really recommend to everyone, is to pay 9-10 euro admission and get up on St Peter's church to appreciate Riga from one of the highest viewing points in the city.
Same like everywhere in Latvia, or at least the cities in Latvia, you'd notice the beautiful art nouveau facedes on the buildings which stand out from other European countries.

Wow! Nice presentation. My grandmother was a concert pianist and lived across the way of the Opera on Theatra iela. You have inspired me to MUST-SEE St. Peters!

Thanks for the comment, Teātra iela is amongst the most important streets in Riga, garnished by art nouveau as you've seen in the video.

@@pawstravel I'm planning an extended, if not, permanent stay. I gotta get out of DC before my brain explodes! I specifically love your camera work of St. Peter's. It was visually majestic! I've fallen irretrievably in love with Latvia.
