I believe that I do not live too far from you (near Youngsport and the Lampasas River). How do you deal with fire ant infestations in your garden? I purchased from Hidden Falls Nursery in Killeen a sack of dry molasses feed. Am planning to spread it below and around my plants since it seems to deter the fire ants.

I usually buy ant hotels and sit right on the fire ant hill, with in 24 hours they are all dead. That way no poison gets in the garden beds. In the food forest I drown them with a water hose. You are close I live in Georgetown
