The story of two "wolves" hunting each other but also the story of two "Red riding hoods" trying to escape from their miserable fate. Such an interesting movie.
Patlabor 2 is the same quality masterpiece, Jin Roh is so good but P2 is a little bit better (but ou gotta have seen early oav, tv serie, new oav, Patlabor the Movie and read the manga to fully appreciate it which makes Jin-Roh on top 'cause no need to read the manga and watching the previous two movies) ruclips.net/video/569IKrwzplY/видео.html
"and than the wolf ate up little red riding hood" he was unable to leave the pack, unable to live with the animal inside himself in a world of humans, so he did the best thing he could, " end it while he was still a beast, a wolf"
This was one of those movies you like the first time you see it, but need to watch it again to really appreciate it. The soundtrack just keeps getting better every time I hear it. Excellent job of melding the movie to the ending theme.👍👍👍
Hiroyuki Okiura's fluid animation style is pure top notch - 11/10 perfection I advicee to watch rest of his movies e.g A Letter to Momo, he also stood behind some of the animations scenes in Petlabor 2: The movie and Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' on Heaven's Door.
Burak Karabulut ehm ehm.. yeah, whats so hard to believe there? it's really a masterpiece, like some other animation movies in which mamoru oshii was involved :)
Burak Karabulut Burak Karabulut Popularity is a double edged sword. On one hand it'd be great to have more attention given to the series as a whole but honestly I'm kind of glad it's an obscure series. Not being popular will never take anything away from this masterpiece and the rarity only makes the seldom times you do see it pop up all the more satisfying to know someone else has good taste. It's also a great curveball for when people try to tell me that Aldnoah Zero and SAO are any good.
DaSpineLessFish I think, many series including this one are not being appreciated enough by the whole community, and many people choose to not really take time with anime like these is due to the series having such an extraordinary animation style.
First time saw the movie absolutely hated it but then after digested it , thought about it - it is one of the best animated films I seen and around, last done on paper I think too which seems to add to the somber atmosphere too. Compelling look into dehumanising structure
and this film offers a glimpse of a world order that could have been born in many a places throughout real known history from times of ruin, during the reign of foolish creatures who call themselves "Humanity."
I just saw all Kerberos Panzer Cops saga movies and definitely Jin-Roh is far superior to it's remake Illang: The Wolf Brigade. Illang is decent but a happy ending don't fit on a story where morality means almost nothing. Officers Koichi (The Red Spectacles), Inui (Stray Dog) and Fuse (Jin-Roh) have their own motivations and people can empathize with them, but Lin in Illang have no charisma and his expressions are equal to a Lego figure.
“Tales of beasts, getting involved with humans, always end on a bad note”
This song is beautiful and sad, just like the movie. Perfect ending theme.
The story of two "wolves" hunting each other but also the story of two "Red riding hoods" trying to escape from their miserable fate.
Such an interesting movie.
Watched this masterpiece of movie a dozen times. Never gets old. Encapsulates the nuance and sophistication of life. :)

and every single time you start to notice a point at which different way for the story's unfolding could have taken place
@@lxdead5585 And Patlabor 2 is on my list of favorites as well. Knockin' on Heaven's Door not so much, but I enjoy the soundtrack. ☺
Is this.. an AMV that doesn't suck!? Holy hell. Well done dude. This should be the Trailer.
A shame this movie is so widely unknown, its one of my favorites. A real masterpiece.
It's a bit spoiler-ish, but some shots are downright trailer worthy, especially the symbol of the Kerberos transitioning into a special unit soldier.
In the TIME that Anime was ART ... i miss it so damn much ... salut to all 30 + fans o7
It still is. Gotta know who works on what.
masterpiece.. alone that drawing style.. i also love the kerberos panzer cops comics

Fuse Kazuki is all to aware of what a burden rests upon his shoulders now and forever
It is only in human tales that the wolf loses.
I love this song. It's so sad & beautiful at the same time with a hint of hounting darkest.
Amazing, amazing, AMAZING! I've so long wanted an HD version of this video to play over and over.
Thank you. Fantastic editing.

Man what a great movie.
This is the best AMV I've ever seen. Jesus Christ.
The anime art film where the human spirit doesnt triumph in the end. But it questions your morality of taking a human life
2:25 I love that transition
well done man, well done
This gave me goosebumps =)
Loved this movie so much
Splendid job with this AMV. I thought at 5:03 Madonna's "Frozen" was playing xD
Wow! Powerful editing :) ^^

You must download it, few streaming services have it now.

I’d say a good modernish version of this movie is Genocidal Organ.
Respect pour la police c'est tout

I like the second part better 2:33 onwards. Knew of the live actions, the Korean movie was OK but I wish more animes are made for this world.
