busy moms shouldn't beat themselves up for not having enough time :) I heard someone recently say we do not in fact all have the same 24 hours in a day , for example , someone with a chef , nanny , fitness trainer etc....... does not in fact have the same use of those 24 hours as a busy mom who is doing all the tasks herself ! it was an eye opener for me . we all have 24 hours in a day but how we get to allocate those hours varies greatly ! you're doing a great job .
I like to change my sheets right then too, nothing worse than being tired at night and realizing your bed isn't made. After many years of trying to keep a small, over crowded linen closet neat I took the linens out and pared way down. Every bed has an soft storage bin underneath with a set of sheets and one blanket. Every bathroom cabinet has four towels and the tablecloths are on hangers in my laundry and now I actually use them as they aren't wrinkled.
For the cards, I saw a hack, to keep a lot of cards from the same event or theme, bundle them up into a little book, one inside the other, and stitch them together with a piece of string. Then they can be pulled out and looked at like a memory book.
Levi has grown so fast. What a cutie. I have gone through my sentimental stuff so many times. I always get rid of something. Sometimes very little, other times more. I started to work on my photos and stopped. I seriously have to be in the right mood. I have 5 siblings and quite a few niece's/nephew's so going through them takes forever and to ask who wants what, etc. It's a long work in progress. Sigh.
I also need to be in the right mood to go through photos because I don't want to feel rushed. It's great you have been able to go through everything over and over I feel that is when I am able to let more go. I hope you are doing well. =)
Levi is getting so big. He is a cutie. We got back from vacation too. it has taken me 4 days to put everything back in order. I love your summer dresses. That is what I am wearing too. So cool and comfortable.
Going on vacation is a ton of work! There’s all the prep for going and then all the putting away when you get back. And if you’ve been gone long enough the house is all dusty and needs to be cleaned when you return.

Your garden looks great, a functioning garden-keeping it real. The garden we planted which we enjoyed for years was a pollinator garden. The life it attracts is fun to watch and if planted thoughtfully comes back year after year with little maintainence and replanting.

Between both of your videos, I'm super pumped to do a whole house declutter this week. I've decluttered many times before so it won't be an overwhelming task but I already have a bunch of stuff in mind to donate to a yard sale fundraiser benefitting a local animal rescue.
Will Grant eat zucchini bread? There are some good vegan recipes out there similar to banana bread. I love zucchini and could eat it sauteed nightly or in a veggie quiche. As a child though, we always had a big garden yield of it and one year, my mom was desperate to use it up and came up with zucchini cookies which were not exactly loved, hahaha So happy to get a good slaw recipe, it's Soo good, thank you :) My family teases me about how much I love cole slaw and get excited to order it as a side in restaurants but sadly, it's not always good. What is the name of the red 🌹 flower perennial that you trimmed? Soooo pretty. Returning from vacay mixed emotions are a real thing but it does give fresh ideas brought on by time away. Yes, it seems there is always something to go through. We finally worked on our garage and hobby room, not perfect, not completely done, but better, and better is good. Your little one is so very cute. We saw our little grand twins last night. We sure enjoy them; it goes by fast.
I try to clean before I head out of town. The only things I want to worry about when returning are unpacking and laundry. Get photo boxes for your photos. Huge space savers. I use a backpack... Much easier to carry my electronics when traveling.
I do the same! Clean the house, do all the laundry, pay all the bills, change all the bedding. Nothing to do when you get home, except to unpack, and, of course, more laundry!😅
I have been decluttering and doing some fresh painting in our home this summer and .....I am truly enjoying living with less! Daily chores seem less stressful! Your home is so serene and I love your channel! ~ Belinda

My husband & I eat a whole food plant-based diet. I plan ahead the meals I'm going to bring or make. A full-size refrigerator & at least a microwave needs to be in our room. There's a lot of food to take along, but we can't rely on restaurant food having vegan options.

Yes! This is a great idea! We recently painted our laundry room a nice bright white and then I relocated a piece of artwork to the wall behind the washer and dryer and it is amazing what a difference it has made for me on laundry day!
LOVE and watch your vlogs weekly! Labels work better if they face the opening so you can see what is where. Also please, please, please remove the store stickers. It takes only a second and most come off cleanly with newer glues. The visual clutter that the stickers make, clog the flow of creative juices and make your mind see too much. It is an easy way to make things look cleaner and well kept. Do LOVE you and hope you don't take this the wrong way. My family calls me the sticker police, 👮so I handed out a ticket to you. LOLOL😂
Hello, Yes it does help the tablecloth from sliding a little but mostly it protects it. A commenter years ago suggested a tablecloth protector and I love it. When something spills it doesn't get on the table at all and if we want to do a project we just pull back the top cloth and my kids can paint or do anything messy. =)

Zinnias make great cut flowers that last for 2 weeks and are drought tolerant.

We are the same! We only rent places with a kitchen because of the way we eat. Also it saves us a lot of money by not eating out.
