My tried and true pizza dough recipe.
1/2 cup warm (but not to hot water)
1tbsp yeast
1tbsp sugar
Add these together let bloom for 5-10 minutes
Add 1cup warm water
1/4 olive oil
3- 3 1/2 cups flour (you want the dough to form a ball and be slightly tacky)
Pinch of salt.
Mix into a ball let it rise for 1 1/2 hours in a warm spot.
Punch down and form 2 pizza doughs. It bakes in 13 minutes at 500 degrees.

My pizza dough recipe : 1 1/2 tsp sugar, 1 1/2 tsp active dry yeast added to 1 1/2 cups warm water set aside until foamy on top. That gets added to 3 cups flour… that’s its base I typically add a drizzle of olive oil and a possibly oregano for flavor but it’s not necessary - good luck finding your happy dough! ☺️ I used to mix it and knead it by hand now I just throw it into the kitchen aid mixer with dough hook and it’s fine- btw your yard is looking amazing!

@@shannontorrens1 np! I’m by no means a pro but little things I’ve started to do also is to use a seed starter mat for a rise when my kitchen is cold or I want the dough sooner - also in my oven, I get a firmer crust when I cook it on a lower rack

Shannon, I use a 50/50 vinegar and water solution to clean my windows. No streaks, but just make sure not to clean windows when the sun is shining on them!
Thank you for that tip! Cleaning these windows on such a sunny hot day was not a good idea lol. Next time I will do it in the evening or early morning. =)
Hi, Shannon enjoy all ur videos. Especially when ur son correted u😂. Just a little tip when u use a pen or pencil to draw the circles for baking pan be sure to turn parchment paper over so ink or lead isn’t getting on cake itself.

Hey Shannon! I also have cleaning routines that I choose two or three tasks a day to work on throughout the week instead of spending an entire day cleaning. I'm looking forward to seeing how your fireplace turns out! That was so funny when Levi was right next to you and you didn't know it! That side table is cute! I have a similar one that I got from a friend who used to have it in her childhood home but she wasn't using it. The weather has been bouncing back and forth here in Texas too! I keep thinking fall is going to be here, but then it gets hot again! I always enjoy watching your videos! Thanks for sharing!💗

QUICK ZIP SHEETS make life easier from baby bed; twin, queen and even king size sheets - check them out. I bought king size because as a senior it was hard wrestling with that mattress. They are a bit expensive but I just buy the "system" which comes with one zipper sheet and i bought just 1 extra. No other sheets/pillow cases. Used the ones I had. God bless you and yours.
What a blessing to have three children. I love seeing Levi at this age. Such a joy to spend time with children. I remember those days although so long ago.

I love your inspo so much! My kids are very similar ages to your three and one hack I do to help with bedding is I stopped using top sheets for kids. It's fine; they're little! Saves me so much time changing sheets and making beds.

I dont think you need a new trash can. If its smaller like yours, i tend to it empty it more often. I built in my own cupboard in a size similar to that. I love it. It tilts out at the top if im just throwing in a piece of paper, but also slides out like a drawer for larger trash or for emptying. Best thing i ever did ! 😂

I used to have a breadmaker to make the pizza dough. 🍕So much fun with the toppings. You can make jam, too. 🤩
I feel the same re. baking. It's one of my favorite hobbies! The parchment paper is my favorite tool of success. I get the two pack at Costco and it lasts for yrs! It also works great if something is browning too quickly in the oven. Just lay a piece over the casserole Et cetera until cook time is up.. I also use it when I roll out pizza dough. Most of the recipes I use I find online but I also have one favorite cookbook.
I understand about windows, but yours look beautiful after cleaning. I have tried to use homemade cleaner of just vinegar, rubbing alcohol & water, but it never fully worked. So now I'm back to name brand windex with vinegar. I tried to avoid it but I just want the windows and mirrors to look good & my other concoctions just didn't work.
I love how you mixed up that homemade ice cream in no time! Most momma's w/kids the age of y'alls would say they were too busy to do something like that, same with baking a cake..but it honestly does not take that long when you have a routine to your day and a minimal type of life❤😊 I just made a new recipe for an Apple Cake today and it turned out so good. I found it online under Amy "Roloff's Little Kitchen recipes. So many good recipes there! I've been doing all of the random homemaking things which you shared here, including knitting pumpkins. I really should teach myself to sew with the machine though, so I could stop giving my mom curtains to hem l o l

Shannon, your back yard looks amazing!!!! It's so cozy and inviting! I agree that bunk beds are hard to change sheets on. It is helpful to let the kids strip them, while they are in them, and then I would remake them. We have radical temperature changes in Ohio. I remember one day my husband mowed in the morning and then we had a good bit of snow in the evening. Lol Great video! ❤

My mom's policy for bedmaking is: If you're old enough to have your own bed, you're old enough to make your bed and change your sheets. You can always ask for help, because four hands are better than two, but nobody is obliged to do it for you. If you want to sleep in a pigsty, feel free to do it.
My daughter did her own bed until she got a bunk bed. It's actually dangerous now. So I do her bed. And sometimes she helps me do mine.

Ooh I loved roller skating as a kid! So I gotta admit that I was absolutely cracking up over the fact that you made ice cream from scratch, the cake from scratch but used a canned frosting when frosting is so easy to make 😂. Still it looked so yummy that now I want some cake.
I know! The frosting is easy to make, but my mom had bought that pre made frosting so I thought I would just use that. LOL.

I have 4 built in bunk beds and I absolutely agree - they are so hard to change the sheets. I wouldn’t do it again.
It's so funny because before bunkbeds, I always thought what a great idea! So fun and efficient. But now I don't know if I would suggest them to people LOL.

My kids bathroom floors are tile and pourous and i think the finish needs to be redone and its awful to clean it doesnt get clean it stinks. Literally
