I'm not huge on this game, but the reason I kept playing was bc I knew I had to unlock the Heavy barrel for this gun to make it a 4-shot kill. and yep, the first game I had after unlocking it I dropped 70 kills.
That first build is basically what I have been using. It's so strong if you hit your shots. I do recommend the other close range sight tho, since the red dot tends to disappear in the background sometimes while aiming. Awesome review!
Definitely understand the rationale behind picking the Holo sight! I prefer the dot for the simplicity, but the holo does have more presence on the screen. Thanks a bunch mate!

Yeah hence the big risk that comes with the M16 - I find that you can turn an engagement around in your favour if you are good enough, but yeah, missing that first burst is risky.
it only works IF you get on a good server , iv got a 4x scope on mine to stand off a bit more and get more accuracy (which pisses snipers off) and iv been having head shots and the game has been making noises like a slot machine paying the jackpot and its taken me 2 bursts , or iv been hosed . the guns are soooo unbalanced eg on showtime i x-mapped a sniper with the vector and i shouldnt be able to do that. and i have found that the heavy barrel is worse than the chrome lined and i set up my guns for accuracy as i would rather have to get 1 or 2 more bullets on target to get a kill than those bullets missing the target on a power build. its ok putting shit down range and hoping something sticks to something somewhere , id rather put shit down range and know more of it is going to stick where and on who i want it to stick.
I used to hate on this gun bad because even with two burst on so 6 shots it still wouldn’t kill someone. Well I’ve gotten pretty good with m16. Dropped my first 3.0+k/d gameplay with it. I’ve come to realize it’s not the fun damage values but simple hit reg. It’s really bad on marksman rifles as well. Svd is a 2 shot anywhere on body up to a medium ish range. However the second shot rarely registers. Even at point blank barrel stuffed range. Same issue for m16.
But that is not a weapon for close war combat it’s a long range weapon and you should be shipping to a pistol like the 93 hour for your quarter street treating that weapon like to treat a marksman rifle using the pistol the runaround for quarters and that popping out that weapon when you have a long range shot Otherwise you’re going to be punished by every other damn gun in the game it close us just God light and you never miss a headshot no matter what even then things like some machine guns or figure other rifles are going to beat you to the draw on sprint, you’re just going to losefree mind to AK-47 that configure for short range

u dont need heavy barrel if u use cleaner class
i find chrome lined is a better barrel + cleaner

i use the muzzle booster, rapid fire barrel, peq-15 front rail, fast mag, and removed stock

M16 takes 2 bursts one game the next 4-5 games broken
