      The snakes 🐍 understand everything he says to them also do you think it’s fair to the snakes that this is their life now in a plastic box not even big enough to stretch out their full length I truly believe it’s sad for them

    When it comes to Rattlers I’ve always loved the Southwestern Speckled Rattlesnake especially the ones you see where their majority cream/white with the brown & black specks on top! Gorgeous snakes imo!

    Poor Mexican Lance Head Rattle snake must have been very stressed. He is a beautiful snake and I hope is will be fine. Some of these snakes were very chill and all of them are gorgeous. Love seeing these snakes. Wonderful content.

      I agree I didnt want to emphasize that on camera one passed before quarantine was up the other was ok at 4 months but still a little off based on the we decided we didn't want to add it to the breeding group so we sold it to someone just looking to own the species. Love your content by the way you see some amazing species in some areas I wouldn't have the balls to go

      Nah mate, he quarantines from his collection. The new ones all get treated for parasites anyway. 👍👍 hope your out of your human quarantine. Enjoy ya day

      I'm pretty sure they all did because I remember trying to find one to use as a water dish for the monitors but all had holes somewhere

    What is the most venomous, most defensive, front-fanged snake with no antivenom?

      That's all a matter of opinion. The Sir Lankan russles viper is pretty high up their but they created an antivenin in 2016 for that species

    Keeled (?) scales look a bit like feathers - hence, “feathered serpent.”
    Used this in writing fiction.
    You’d most likely enjoy some of those fictional snakes - the *death adders* being a notable exception.

      They are pretty common compared to the snakes in this video. But I don't keep any a few of my friends have them though I will see if I can go film them soon

    Man all these guys are good looking. I'm hoping there isnt anything wrong with that lance head rattlesnake he didnt seem right. And that first Yucatan rattlesnake seems sluggish. And flat looking. Just doesnt look right either. But I could be completely wrong on that! I'm no expert I just Hope he is ok too.

      I would cut Physician examine room paper,and stack them beneath to dispense for each like they do at Wildlife facility in Au.....I think they can be purchased pre-cut or I'd buy a roll and cut my own..Like a examine room box of tissue..lol...

    The Pygmy rattlesnake can be found in the US too. (I think you said only in Mexico) they can give an pretty nasty bite. Get about 2 feet long. The venom was the basis for the development of the drug eptifibatide, which is used to prevent clotting during a heart attack. The venom is somewhat different in that it contains substantial amounts of serotonin and related tryptamine compounds. Just so info.

      A mexican pigmy rattlesnake and a north American pigmy rattlesnake is completely different. They are in a different genus even

      Did I miss something I think it all went pretty smooth. This was the only desk I had in quarantine so it was film it so far away you couldn't see anything or sit to keep everything in frame. I'm confident in my abilities how many rattlesnakes have you unboxed?

The fact is I handle close to 400 venomous snakes a week and yet still have never taken a bite so until this changes i doubt I'm going to change much.......     Did you buy them all, or donated? There was a big collector in Florida who gave his entire collection away. Wondering if he sent you some of his snakes? The new Florida venomous reptile laws have changed the hobby for life. A lot of people are going to have to get rid of their collection.

      I have my bite protocols in check for every species. I surround myself with the best team of herpetologist I have ever met. If anything went wrong i would be in good hands.     Maybe you shouldn't be unboxing snakes on a table sitting down. Not only is it lazy but when they fall off a table they can hurt themselves pretty easily. Also your snake hook scraping the table is like nails on a chalkboard. You should have a way better set up unboxing.

      The snake hook scraping the table is annoying. As far as sitting down that so you guy can see the snake clearly and I can still be in frame. Lazy sorry i mean i had been up working for 27 hours when i started filming this by the time i was done it was time to go back to work.... 4 am. Worked straight threw the night if I hadn't set down my legs would have failed
