Same. I couldn't believe it... that's literally the skinniest snake I've ever seen. Honestly, if you're going to get an animal like a snake, you need to make sure you can source live food. I would never own a snake because I don't have the heart to feed a live rat/mouse to a snake (I own rats as pets) it's disgraceful someone would let it get that bad.
my dost feeding live can be hard, but l’ve been able to feed frozen/thawed pretty quickly. there are a lot of tricks some newer keepers don’t know about when it comes to feeding f/t or aren’t willing to do. it’s perfectly fine to need help, this person just waited WAAAY too long to ask for it.

I took in a bearded dragon that was a class pet, and her spine was wonky and her tongue is stuck out permanently and she wasn't eating and through watching your videos I learned she has mbd. I'm happy to announce that she is eating, getting heavier, and living her best lizard life. I've never had reptiles but I was able to help her improve through your vids!

Seeing how bad some of these animals look, it really makes me see how well I take care of my beardie (not saying he is not a spoiled lizard that gets a gourmet fruit and vegetable salad and 2-3 Dubia roaches and sometimes a super worm or 3) and he was raised well (I got him when he was 7 months old) and has no mbd and is a rescue. I researched about bearded dragons for 3 years before getting one.
Would be interesting to see how you help these animals after you received them. The food they get, the enclosure, sending it to it’s new home and so on.
It really hurts seeing animals that are in such bad conditions. Especially that poor little ball python. You could just tell the poor thing was nearing the end, and I think the he/she knew it too. I'm so glad that you take in the animals that you can, and give them a second chance at life. I remember doing extensive research when I would get ANY pet, and I always did my best to not to let this kind of thing happen. It's hard to imagine someone just picking up an animal knowing nothing about it, even ones with simple upkeep, and trying to keep it as a pet with no research or effort. It almost feels as if some people see them as an accessory and not a living animal. It's asinine. :( I'm glad that you bring these kinds of issues to light, as it's not easily found on youtube quite as extensively as you show and explain it. You've most likely saved countless animals other people own, just by talking about proper care for these animals.
