Vinheteiro, após 4 anos, vendo agora esse seu vídeo, pude notar o quão renegado é o bom gosto no nosso amado país BRASIL. É lamentável que a boa música é despreza por aqui. Saúde e sucesso, maestro.
I can honestly say that I have heard the majority of these songs. I never knew they were something much larger. Much of these pieces have been played through out the years in commercials, cartoons, tv, film, covers you name it. The ones we remember most are the ones that stand out more because they are used more. Taratella Napoletana and Funiculi Funicula, I'd hear as a child regarding anything that had to do with Italy. Funiculi Funicula was always played when something had to do with "pizza". Or they would use Taratella Napoletana. First time I heard it was in an old 'Disney cartoon. It was a 'Jack and the Beanstalk' skit with Mickey, Donald and Goofy. Goofy and Donald sing 'Funiculi Funicula' as they awaiting food to be brought back by Mickey trading in their cow. William Tell Overture, somehow became synonymous with anything that had to do with running. Especially horse racing. Violon concerto, was often used associated with visiting museums, catering events, anything grand. Ranz des Vaches, I'd hear in just about every cartoon from Disney, to Looney Toons, Tom& Jerry, Tex Avery, etc... It was always played as a backdrop for "waking up" in the early morning sunrise. O sole mio, was another I'd seen in cartoons from Disney, Looney Toons, Tom & Jerry, Tex Avery, etc... It was always the something to have you laughing. It shows you just how many of these songs have been with us. Timeless classics, that we never knew where they originated.
Don't forget that the theme for The Lone Ranger was The William Tell Overture. Try to listen to Toscanini conducting it, Incredible and it was the version used for the TV show.

The 9th song is a song I heard in daycare and loved, but couldn’t find it until about a month ago (I’m 15). The 8th song, Bella Ciao, is about the Partisans wanting liberation during WWII
I’ve heard most of them, some since a long time ago can’t even remember, thanks for this! my heart is with the italians , hope everything gets back to what it used to be in peace and happiness.
Fun facts: "Bella ciao" (Goodbye, beautiful lady) was originally a song sung by the female workers in rice fields, lamenting their dire working conditions. It then became a Partisan song with a new text. "Funiculì funiculà" was composed in 1880 to celebrate a then new funicular railway climbing Mount Vesuvius (which was operative until 1953)
@@DrGregoryHouseIT you´re right! Unbelievable! I could not imagine that outside the subtropical climate of asia, africa or america rice will be able to grow. Than I red that rice will be plant over 500 (!!) years around the the river PO.... amazing
''Bella ciao'' is a music of ukrainian/yiddish origin ... it is a song whose words have been changed and it was composed in Italian after the Second World War ... the Italian workers never sang this song before the end of the second world war. The partisans were born in 1943 after the armistice, so it was impossible that they were mentioned in the song even before their existence. ''Bella ciao'' was written after World War II. I made the video and even then I couldn't learn the name of the song from bocherini, scarlatti, and number 4.
Pure io😅
That is funny

Thanks for Bella ciao, from Italy... Today we need it more than ever...!
Fun facts:
"Bella ciao" (Goodbye, beautiful lady) was originally a song sung by the female workers in rice fields, lamenting their dire working conditions. It then became a Partisan song with a new text.
"Funiculì funiculà" was composed in 1880 to celebrate a then new funicular railway climbing Mount Vesuvius (which was operative until 1953)
I think where never ever rice fields in Italia.... ;-)
@@karlmasutra6691 Well, you think wrong.
@@DrGregoryHouseIT you´re right! Unbelievable! I could not imagine that outside the subtropical climate of asia, africa or america rice will be able to grow. Than I red that rice will be plant over 500 (!!) years around the the river PO.... amazing
@@karlmasutra6691 rice has been a staple in northern Italy since the Middle Ages. Where do you think risotto comes from?
''Bella ciao'' is a music of ukrainian/yiddish origin ... it is a song whose words have been changed and it was composed in Italian after the Second World War ... the Italian workers never sang this song before the end of the second world war.
The partisans were born in 1943 after the armistice, so it was impossible that they were mentioned in the song even before their existence.
''Bella ciao'' was written after World War II.
