"A surprise video for my Lost Forest friends to enjoy! As we were without power for a few days (due to storm Isha), it gave me time to make a video offline, as the studio had to unexpectedly shut down.
So, let's go on an adventure to explore the history of Enniskillen Castle, a hidden lake with a magical twist, and some escapades (Pupscapades!) with Mr Pup and a new visitor to the garden. There will also be time for a coffee or two, sweet treats and snuggles with the furbabies.

Hello Dear Gillian ! 🤩Thanks a lot for your lovely surprise !! Fella is soooo beautiful, what an adventure for him miaou miaou ....well all the Kitties are tremendously beautiful !!! I'm sorry you are in storms and cold now, but I hope not a lot of damages... Here in Creuse we have since saturday a very sweet temperature and Sun, like a pre-spring ! In France we Love textiles from Ireland and Scotland, sooooo wonderful !!!! Everytime you are going in a shop, so many lovely lovely things you are lucky to see !!! 😛😍Do your husband know that farmers in France and in Germany are extremely angry against this mad Europe and are protesting on the roads with their big tractors ? I think they will be betrayed first of all, but will come back very determined and efficient !... It's a very special Year !!! The museum, a great work to make all this, for sure, but interesting !!! What a lovely video, and the museum was quite interesting. I watched last Sunday as well, gave 2 thumbs up (one on tv and one on laptop) but we were under the worst snow blizzard at the time and I had emergency issues. All is well now. I thoroughly enjoy starting my Sunday morning watching your videos and relaxing with my first cup of coffee. As a Ken Follet fan, I love seeing the old castles, bridges and churches. I am fascinated by the cuisine of bygone times too, but I don't think I would have liked eating so much eel, smoked or not! I live in a desert country and envy you all the beautiful lakes and water.
Yes! I have to agree I wouldn’t be keen on eels either 😅. I’ve read a lot of culinary books from hundreds of years ago, and their tastes were certainly very different!

After a bunch of sweeties ( comme vous les aimez 😊) boutique et petits " musées" PASSIONNANT ( mon grand-père était artilleur en 1914-18 ,il commandait un batterie de "75") cette boutique avec toutes ces boîtes anciennes (?) @@LostForest malheureusement il n'en a quasiment jamais parlé,il y avait des armes a la maison ( carabine, bayonnettes ,sabres de cavalerie et douilles d'obus gravés ( comme le faisait certains artilleurs doués pour la gravure sur métal ) , il y avait aussi une revue de guerre " miroir" que je dévoraient enfant, j'ai appris à lire avec ça et le fantôme du Bengal et autre Mickey nous habitions à SOISSONS ou la présence britannique reste toujours présente, d'où mon amour du Royaume Uni.il me reste des photos de cet homme qui m'a élevé, avec son uniforme noir,sa redingote et ses éperons. Et une nostalgie terrible.😸🐕🧚🎵🎶🤗

No problem! You can pass freely between the republic and the north. A lot of people would live in one side of the border and work on the other! It wasn’t always easy to cross. During the Troubles, there were border checks with armed soldiers, and the bridge we cross weekly now into Fermanagh was blown up and didn’t exist for many years. I remember those times, and it was scary as a young child. Thankfully there is peace now and life goes on as normal 🙏☘️✨💕
