The room turned out beautifully! If you change your mind on the LED lights, there are actually lots of options that you can add by yourself, both with on/off switch or sensors. I've added some to my wardrobe two years ago that run on batteries (I don't have the patience or skill to fiddle around with wires) that I got at my local hardware store. The batteries lasted for well over a year as well ,before I had to change them.
I would definitely hang the jeans up on one of the shorter unused rails, it makes it so easy to see (and keep tidy!!) the outer doors are gorgeous tho!
my girlfriend who is a personal organizer got me to buy clear boxes (no lid, so i guess more like a bin?) for my t-shirts and tanks for my walk in closet. I fold them semi-Marie Kondo style so I can still see them all from the top. My dresser in my room is only drawers which are deep so they are not good for tshirts and tanks. The clear boxes have been great for me. I find stacks of t-shirts and tanks on shelves on their own very difficult to keep tidy.
I am the same way Lizzy! I go from organized to chaos in a matter of days. IDK if this applies to you but sometimes I get "time blindness" where I don't realize how much time I need to get ready to go out, or prepare for friends coming over and then I get rushed and end up throwing stuff anywhere so that people don't see how chaotic my home often is. And then I wonder why my doctors visit paperwork is jammed in the napkin drawer LOL. Currently in the process of paring down all the junk in my utility closet so this video was good inspiration.
Yes!!!! This is exactly what I do. And on the rare occasions I leave myself enough time I still somehow having a manic 5 mins as I’m leaving the house! How do we stop this 😂😂
Lovely, lovely dressing room Lizzy. Maybe as a suggestion you could put flush ceiling down lights in daylight colour so as to not have the led lights put in your wardrobe. I think it would look more uniform than to have a pendent light dangling down in the middle of the room and brighten in insides of the wardrobe at night. I’m with you on not liking lights inside the wardrobe 🙌😂

I think the benefit of wood is that there are all sorts of colours in it, so different woods and other colours and finishes all go with it. I wonder if anyone has done a lot of research on coathangers
