Euro Nymphing Spring Creek PA in Early August

- Headed out to central PA to fish Spring Creek. I haven't been to Spring Creek in a year and haven't fished it for more than a few hours for over 2 years. It felt great to get back on one of the best trout streams in the world and revisit the place where I honed in my nymph fishing.

Nice Rainbow! Keep at it Dude!
showing what the hit looks like on the line by your hand was a nice detail @7:45
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video.
Nice video! I fished that same section last weekend and caught 15 browns in around 3 hours. They were hitting a black zebra midge and olive scud.
Thank you. Keep them coming please.
I plan on it! Thanks for watching!
Another nice video with beautiful 🐟 👌
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed.
Hi, I met you on Spring Creek on the day you filmed this video. Mighty impressive! I'll have to fish this section more often.
J.M.
hahaha I was wondering if found the channel or not. Thanks for watching!
Spring creek is one of the best if not the best in Pa Those were some nice browns Keep up the good work and stay safe
Thank you for watching! Appreciate the support.
High density stream. Many people like myself learned to fly fish there at our times at psu.
Happen to stumble upon your video. Been wanting to go to Spring Creek but just don't know the area or where to go. I'm from NYC. Learning a lot from your vids. Thank you! Subscribed!
You can find a lot about it online. I don't fish it much anymore.
Thanks for watching and glad you find the videos helpful. 👍
@@Brownsylvania What section is that? I usually fish the Paradise section but always looking for new areas.
Nice video man. Cant wait to get back on those trout! Benn hitting PA and WV for some good trout vids. Tight lines from BFG
Thanks for watching! Tight lines!
Been there 2x. Got my butt handed to me both times, lol.
Just keep going back man. You'll figure it out eventually. 👍
I caught a 15 inch brown in literally the same spot u caught the nice rainbow. Lol
hahahaha Nice! That's awesome to see the fish rotate through the good lies. Who knows the brown could have been sitting over there when I fished there too, just didn't get him. 🤣
awesome! What tippet length do you run in your rig? Do you stick to 2 1/2 times of water depth or go by knowing the particular water?
Thanks for watching!
I usually set my tippet length for the deepest part of the creek in the section I plan to fish and then for anything shallower than that just hold your sighter/leader higher out of the water accordingly.
What line are you running? That orange line?
It's red Amnesia. Here is my video where I explain my euro setup for nymphing: ruclips.net/video/MWQlFI-btDk/видео.html
Hope that helps!
Every time I think of that stream, I think of that day a few years ago when we absolutely crushed so many browns and rainbows. The people in the fishing tournament for Penn State were in disbelief and shock that we were landing so many. Great video
Hahaha Yeah, that was a great day. 😂
