The Ramones were consciously reviving earlier musical styles that were just simple and stripped down and fun, unlike the overproduced bands of the 70s. I read somewhere that they thought of themselves as a bubbegum band with guts.
While I've never said "Well, now I've seen (or heard, in this case) it all", this one sort of stretches the imagination to ponder whose idea of spoof creativity this was. I suppose, as Joey said, "there's nothing wrong if it's just for fun", and I can understand the nod to the 'Surf' feel and sound the Ramones used, at times, I suppose, but without the 'attitude', something seems off, to these ears. Someone I trust said to 'not take this too seriously', The actual Ramones probably would have had a good laugh about it, so...
Oh, I found it! The first, to hear the song from these boys was about two years ago... now it was going in my head and I didn't know the name of the band. Now i now it, again :D

@@frankgrimes7388 well I know he was a Republican for one thing. Enough said.
I like "Perhaps they'll die" being sung repeatedly in a cheerful, upbeat manner.
"oh I don't know why I turned dark"
Awesome! These guys should do a The Cramps cover!

LOVE THE RAMONES! NOW I LOVE THE NEW Piccadilly's!
It's common knowledge that the Beatles and Ramones were the two most influential rock bands of all time.

This is my favourite one. Your Clash cover was pretty good, but this may be as close as we'll come to the Beatles covering the Ramones.

i dont know how the fuck this works but it does
Well The Ramones were inspired by 60's bubble gum pop and surf rock.
Andrea Swart Sad that Joey and Johnny (in particular...RIP Dee Dee and Tommy as well)...weren't around to hear this one...they'd have loved it too
maybe because the Ramones listened to the Beatles a lot??

Azért valamit nagyon tudnak... így keverni a korai Beatlest a Ramones-szel...

This looks like the Woodside Halls, Georges Cross.
