The Titans seem like a very random team to get a new stadium like this, especially considering their current stadium isn't even that old. It's also odd how to the video seems to imply that 55k-60k seats in the new stadium is a huge upgrade when the current Titans stadium actually seats 69k and can have as many as 73k fans with standing room only areas.
The old nissan stadium will be 30 years old by the time the new stadium is completed. Visiting other NFL stadiums, I can assure you that nissan Stadium is years behind the rest of the league.
Dont be jealous! plus you have to look past just Titans, You have to look at the city of Nashville itself, its growth, and what they use the stadium for. The curent stadium is used year around way more than football games actually. Its music city after all. Also The development around the area as well, east bank signifies what the city of Nashville is growing into. So then it seems fiting actually that they will get a stadium like this. Its more tham just football. Much much more. But we all are entitled to our opinions, but looks like more people like the new stadium them haters, so you have that
@miciahsellers jealous? Ok, bud. I'm from fucking Utah, we don't even have a team, so I have no dog in this fight. Sounds like you have a weird persecution complex though, that's fun.
So basically the SoFi Stadium of the South. How come all NFL stadiums look alike every since Jerry World was built in 2009? What ever happened to unique and open air stadiums? Does the NFL no longer approved of such stadiums?
My problem is these huge stadiums really can only host NFL and that format. It cannot host soccer matches cuz too large. Soccer has too many games so fans will not pack into it as opposed to FB having only 8 home games. How many times we hosting World Cup? Indoor arenas usually can do basketball and hockey and both play lots of games so more utility. Concerts wont sell out such a huge stadium unless it is Elvis Presley coming back from the dead to do one final performance. Therefore concerts are better off at the smaller venues. Wrestlemania is once a year. The biggest boxing fights only happen a few times, and have to compete with so many places. Huge stadiums like this one have little utility. They only used less than half the year totally.
What do you think about the stadium?
I think all stadiums/arenas, must be funded with private money only, not tax payer guarantees or assistance.
As a psl holder, it's bittersweet.

Good question. I think they do, its just new stadiums with more modern design.
The Browns are trying to build something unique and you got a bunch of complainers here yelling about it.
Wrong Tigers Logo bud 😂
Ops😁
As a TSU alum, I was about to comment the same thing.

Yes that is a good point. But even if they don't sell out, they can still be used for it (concerts).
@ but why build empty seats? Is just more overhead.
Titans need to build a good team to go in the new stadium. They haven’t won a home game this year.
Nashville built a new 30,000 seat soccer stadium a few years ago.
@@Dld1985 Which is smaller, and play way more games in. Plus being smaller is cheaper, is better suited for other kinds of events like concerts.
