After 7 months suspended in the air, Ian's Toyota Corolla FX16 is finally coming back down to earth with a suspension overhaul and a spring swap. He moved the front coilover springs to the rear, rear springs to the front, and paired them with new struts before dialing in the alignment. But will this unconventional setup breathe new life into the FX16, or create unexpected challenges? My plans for this season... 94 cobra-Cut out and replace the rotted through-the floor subframe connectors, get it tuned, finish IRS install, make a custom intake setup. 03 911-Replace all bushings, throwout bearing, IMS bearing, raise the ride height, alignment. 81 924-EFI conversion, brakes, water pump, hoses, seals, replace every hose/vacuum/fuel line fix rotted floor, find some seats, install boost gauge, all brake/clutch hydraulics. 95 Mustang- add fuel, maybe change the oil. 17 Fit- add oil, change CVT fluid/filter, swap the all seasons back on. Too many projects!

That 94 is getting the business! Those things are an absolute riot with wide sticky tires on all 4 corners.

@@oioracing That it is! it's an old NASA TT car. It's been getting a complete ground up rebuild over the last 4 years. The 95 mustang has a Maximum Motorsports kit and is a load of fun.

I have the ae92 MaxpeedingRod coilovers on my ae92 sedan. The modifications needed aren't bad at all. Just a few holes to drill in the front towers, elongate bottom holes on rears and keep stock top hats in rears
