  • A trip to the West Coast of Scotland in search of more Sea Trout, and with another AMAZING session I managed to land a few fish, Some very nice sized ones also! The activity of fish jumping was immense, literally every second a fish was jumping or disrupting the water as if it was a Feeding Frenzy!!! Hopefully you all enjoy the session and feel free to leave a comment on what you think. Thanks

❤ absolutely great night you had and the fish look in cracking condition and yes one of the more frustrating aspects of fishing in the sea for them is how many fish we seem to lose😂

Brilliant fishing, can I give an advice that works for me that stopped them coming off, is by adding a second small ring to the lure this way when they are on there is more play and they won’t come off as easily. I stopped losing fish since I started adding a second ring to the lure. 💯🎣🎣🎣 tight lines

@@theanglingfront The sea trout seem to have got smaller, I might persist with that little 12g sprat to catch them but getting plenty bass, pollack, mackerel and Gurnards on jigs so all good fun at the moment.
I'll go hardcore sea trout again a bit later in the year when there should be more bigger ones. May and begging of June was crazy for 2-4 pounders until the hot spell, only managed to land 3 out of 13 takes but you still get to play them for a while haha.

@@thebigfish75 They are still there Ed, I normally catch them all year round, only thing is during the summer you will get plagued with Mackerel! I personally find that by going fishing early morning and spending a bit of time on the shoreline finding the activity ie jumps, rises etc, goes a long way, but that’s just personal belief Ed
