It sounds like the both of you need to be working on that gully your in a bit more. Looking forward to your next video and well done with what you had found.
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK It's only getting down to 20 degrees so far. I just need a few warm days to melt all the ice on the leach pad and get the rest of the gold out of solution. I give it a 50/50 chance. It may have to wait until spring.
I started dryblowing (aussie) because of your videos. Going out in 8 hrs from now to work a small feeder gully but I'm sure it wont be anything like what I just saw . Or will it??? 🤣 That was some nice color. Great job!
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK Thanks but was a washout...Got rained on 20 mins in but managed to scape up a sample bucket and washed at home for 0.22g which backs up my previous small samples so maybe an ok spot yet.

Great mining there guys. Interesting that you brought bedrock up. I was just telling somebody yesterday that this ain't Cali. Like everybody wants to get to bedrock. It don't work the same in desert placers. A lot of areas you can actually see the banding beds from the years of the flash floods. Not all flash at the same time. Seen it rain across the road here yet dry where i'm standing. Like you said: "go for the long straight stretches AFTER the inside bend." Sometimes it's a little ways after and keep it as shallow as you can. I've found the gold in layers that were sometimes 8-10"s apart. Again like you said: "be diligent". Your there go for it. And ...yea...your going to get sore knees, backs, and arms. "May all your days be Golden".
just wanted to thank you for all the help under standing a dry washer im headed for AZ on the 15th of jan with my new 140s. could you explane the diferance in value of specimen gold and non. i under stand specimen is worth twice of spot?
Thats not always the case. The value ultimately will be decided by the buyer. Some specimens are really ugly and are not worth much. So visual impressions are very important. Just plain nuggets are usually worth 90 to 120 % of spot price. The variables are to lengthy to discuss. Congrats on the 140 , its a great machine. Do not push to much air through it.
I need to replace the material on my dry washer what type of fabric do you suggest I noticed yours does not look stock. Hi do most of my Prospecting and the southern half of Nevada and western Arizona areas. and thank you for your contacts keeps me inspired. PS there’s a couple areas in Esmeralda County southern Nevada, that I hit a few times a year after the rains were the The bedrock is real close to the surface with natural ripple type bedrock and I just go up there with my vacuum a week or so after it rains and get gold every single time in the same 200 foot stretch good thing is it’s hard to get to so nobody ever goes up there.
Hi , and thank you or watching!. Good Drywasher cloth can be card to source. Theres really no particular name for it. Keene still sells some as far as I know ,and id start there. I do know A&B Prospecting in Prescott Valley has some right now. He may ship it to you. Otherwise , visit a store that sells cloth. The most important thing is to get cloth that breathes freely with little to no resistance when you blow through it. Yet tight enough weave to hold the ultra fines.
Thanks Craig ! Its just been cold wet, and then I got hit with covid, but I have a new detector and some new content should be coming out soon. Hope you are well too !

Yes , deeper ground can have several pay layers, this usually works well for running the overburden.

Yes, otherwise it would clog up in very short order.
I imagine that you could find many locations and clean them out, like setting traps for the next floods deposits.
Thats basically what we have done. The next time it floods pretty good , I guarantee there will be new gold where we vacuumed..

Thanks!
The county in which the mining claim is located will have a file on the exact location o the claim boundaries. Visit www.mylandmatters.org
whats that pick called??
They are custom made picks. Just get something with a wide end to move material towards you . you can weld a flat shovel to a pick too.
how do I get a device to work with gold separation
