One critique of the video itself: Please start off with a demonstration first , and THEN break it down and explain how it works and how to build it. I had no idea what you were talking about until colors actually started flowing at 7:00
I caved and got the teleport belt mod. Then I made a wired 3.5 belt (should be 4 without lag) anything machine… I made it extendable to 16 belts, but the lag… I’ve gotten 50 solid hours of content out of this game. Anyone that has made a fully automated MAM is a software developer. No questions asked.
I know this comment is many years out of date, but thanks for the guide. I found it while searching for Mobile-friendly information, since they don't (yet) have wires, and was similar to your situation then. However, one thing I hadn't counted on was the lag of the mobile client - belts and machines will continually get slower the long the game runs. This meant the storages getting backed up at the wrong times and generating bad mixes/stacking. I still was able to use some of your principles in my new MMAM.
what the heck is smilter and unhub did you mean smelter and remove the extra hubs and also the game is about trying to minimise the amount of conveyors going into hub by using the distributor and the compact distributor
@@bonkser I meant smelter. It smelts shapez... to recast them in molds... an unhub makes items you collect in the hub come out... ngl I think your pretty dumb man. Yes the game is about trying to minimise the amount of conveyors going into hub by using the distributor and the compact distributor. You say it like making a full 16 way hub is easy. Have you tried cracking a 16 letter passwords. It's not easy at all. More importantly what the !@#$ does that have to do with an unhub? Nothing you say makes sense.
Hi. Thanks for the helpful tutorial. I have never played any of these logic type games before and I am very new to this game which I am enjoying immensely so far. I am here to learn. But for quite some time I was stumped at the 3:00 mark because, even though I understand the mechanics of the Stacker, in that it will cease to output unless there is feed to both of the input ports and I also understand the mechanics of the Storage unit; its priority and overflow mechanics. I couldn't see how the by-pass was causing the flow from the Stacker to continue given that the right side of the Stacker was still getting no feed. I actually thought that some trickery was causing the Stacker to output. It wasn't until I sat staring at it for several minutes that I realized that the Stacker wasn't outputting at all. The confusion arose because the junction you made was right at the Stacker output, thereby concealing the fact that the Stacker was still not outputting anything. I realize that this should have been obvious but, as I pointed out earlier, I am very new to this and I am on a very steep learning curve. I also realize that it is very hard to put yourself into the mind of a novice when you have as much knowledge of the processes as you obviously do. It is the simplest of techniques that changes a good tutorial into a great tutorial. In this instance, if there had been a gap between the Stacker and the Junction, or if you had used a corner instead of the Junction (given that a Junction wasn't actually required at all), it would have been instantly obvious that there was still no output from the Stacker. But again, thanks for the great tutorial and I hope that my comment helps to make your future tutorials even greater.
Nice idea with storages. I believe you don't actually need them for stackers if you use wires, also for painter since you can bypass a figure with the wire used for colour switching
@@dogdayboy7266 put 2 belts into a merger going into a single trash. Or try it into the hub. Why are you unaware of this problem? You've clearly played through the game... where I haven't finished. I'm on last shape then my full hub filling blueprint factory. Which should I make first? I destroyed my current outdated one.
Smart stackers allow for the creation of shapes with missing corners and shapes with any number of layers without having to re-wiring anything. If you want complete automation than you need to turn to the wires update coming out soon
dammit, and i had just finished my anything machine too. Welp, i wasnt really satisfied with its speed anyway
Did you make your machine with every possible coloured shape as input?

this is so impressive this is openning so much optimization ways to make compact make everything factory
What I'm waiting for list:
*wire update
*unstacker
*containers
*second build layer
*tunnel layer
*smelter
*molds
*more hubs
*unhub

RyRuRyRu:CyRyCyRy. Put it to the Constant signal (Shhhh this is a secret. You can tell it everyone incept DogDayBoy and Shapez.io)
tf is that shape?
@@unrelatedK Shape generate it
My stackers couldnt handle a full belt, so i added splitters that delete half of the blocks coming in so they could handle it.
Smart is a strong word.
The Greatest Idea . Thanks :)
i discovered this video just in time
Thanks
It looks like you have additional tools, how do you gain access to them?
Nevermind, on the alpha
Thanks that was super helpful
can you make a tutorial on how to make an anything machine in the alpha
Already have
I learned how to smack my lips in 3 easy steps
real test, try to make rocket shape with this
Amazing idea. Thanks
Does it have to be in the standalone version because it doesn't work
I really wanted to build this but the demo version removed the levels past Tunnels Tier II level meaning that I can't get storage buffers! :(((
@Wagner Elias i have a chromebook and shapez.io isn't compatible with them
how do you play on freeplay???
i like your content
This is brilliant

This is for the standalone version, the only reason I recorded it in the Alpha is because it is much more optimized for lag

Does anyone know a way to buy it on a Mac? Cuz on steam you can’t get it on macs :(
Does merger speed get fixed in the next update? It's almost half as slow as it should be.
The merger speed is normal in any version to my knowledge
