Wow! Thank you I'm a 15 year old Filipino boy who is interested in classical like this I think I'm the only Filipino who listen to this thank you for this!
Thank you for your comment young boy! I guess you’re not the only one from Philippine watching this video. Philippine is a big country and watching the statistics on my RUclips channel there are also other people who watch this channel. Keep studying and stay strong!
Great service, as I found it difficult to find native Italian singers. Per esempio, no c'e un video con Pavarotti. Pero, it now occurs to me that Pavarotti is tenor, and the aria is for baritones. I just cannot believe that "Fach" is that strict. BTW I wonder about the "i" in Italian, if it is a stress, always, and more than in other languages. Referring to "di" (qualità). If you got links to Italian baritone performances, please add. Thank you! I haven't checked for Caruso, but again, he's a tenor! Incredibile. Edit: Esiste una versione di Caruso! ruclips.net/video/K48Y85jomIw/видео.html Btw Seems a very good interpretation, not missing out on tempeo but lyrical lo stesso.
Thanks for your reading, I Still have a question : when you sing this Aria in the tempo originale, don’t you think you loose the italian pronounciation ? I mean when you have to put the tonic pronounciation
Thank you for you question Olivier. Can you please tell me exactly what you mean: for example you give a range of time of the video and you specify the words? Or you just mean that if I read and interpret the lyrics the single word is pronounced differently with the Italian pronunciation? If your question is the second I just can answer that we should also have an idea of what is the intonation of phrase. Please let me know what is your problem. Thanks you again
Ciao! Your videos are just awesome! I would like to mention your channel in my videos which are for opera singers as well. Hope you don’t mind it! Keep up your great work!
I meant you read that very well but when a singer sings this Aria, I always think he is loosing the right pronounciation (your pronounciation) How can it be possible to sing in the Tempo by singing & trying to be understandable ?
Got it! Now I understand your question, and I think is a very good question. First of all we have to consider that the belcanto repertoire, like Rossini, is not a kind of music based on the intelligibility of the lyrics. Just think about that sometimes you sing thousands of notes with just one syllable and maybe because of the lenght of the melismas you can even forget which was the previous syllable. The best way is to study the lyrics without singing, the slower you pronounce the more clearly you will sing.
I understand your variants, they’re all the repetition that you have to sing…according to the music score. If you open and read the libretto there are no repetitions.
@@ITALIANPRONUNCIATIONforsingers Yeawhen I sing it and it's live musicians or a cappella, i always ask them to do it four all in all so I can go through all these variations.
