Life experience has taught me that there's a large number of people who can't find decent paying work, and who ultimately just scrape by most of their lives. Good paying work is tough to come by, especially if circumstances don't allow people to pursue education or get into high demand employment. However, I'm guessing you're naive enough to believe it's just that easy for most people. Either you're too young, or too privileged, to understand the struggles of low income population.

THE INCREASE ALONE WAS DOUBLE THE MONEY NEEDED FOR FREE COLLEGE. No one brought up the debt when the govt dumped 6 trillion to the stock market in the span of 3 weeks in march which is way more than the stimulus checks. No one brought up the debt when private healthcare costs us double the amount of money per capita and put 500000 people into bankruptcy every year which is detrimental to the "debt".
