There are a few people from my distant past I've blocked just because they'll want to be my friend and, well, they're crazy. But yeah, people with at least an ounce or two of maturity can let it go, leave the other alone, and not block them. Probably never see them again unless they flame PAW PATROL!!!! ;)
I don’t think like this anymore because it’s destructive. Now I just ignore them and wish them well. Or forgive the people that hurt me and forgive myself for choosing actions that weren’t the best for myself.
I encourage anyone else who was feeling similar to do some self reflection and deal with those thoughts face on. Figure out why you dislike someone and burn those bridges.

For me personally it’s just for perspective. I like to analyze people I don’t like.
I do understand ignoring them all together is better but I like getting perspective and finding more reasons to dislike the person.
It’s also something I’m used to doing as a child. Even after all the time my stepdad mistreated me I always wanted to hang out with him. I genuinely had love for him.
So it’s a mix of perspective and habit.

Been looking around online to see who these creators are. CalebCity still follows him on insta. Not sure if the creators who he alleges abandoned him did so publicly. What I do know is Griffy got banned from Dreamcon so RDCWorld cut ties with him. Afrosenju openly blasted him and Heavenly as well.

There have been some Griffy vids that I've thought have gone too far or that Ive disagreed with the message of, but then I ask myself these questions. "Did the video kill or harm me physically? No. Did it harm or kill someone I care about? No. Do I have anything to gain from overly dwelling on the content? No." And then I just get over it and go about my day.

Back when I was on Twitter, I used to hold quarterly "block parties." The day before the party, I would warn everyone seeing my tweet that I was going to be unfiltered and probably offend anyone without thick skin, so this was their advance warning to block me. The next day, I would spend the day shit posting my horrible takes and see how many followers I lost by the end of the day. It prevented a lot of the Twitter drama I'd receive because everyone already knew if they liked my content or not. Works for meager 8-10k range profiles, but probably wouldn't do much for an established name like yours. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
