And also, recruiting subs from comments leaves a sour taste in one's mouth, the feeling that you only want clout. Whole 1k subscribers, you know how massive that is? Some of the biggest school gymnasiums can't fit that many people. Not saying it's true, but that's a general perception due to how robotic and inhuman it feels.
And you've left 270 comments, and gotten them subs over a decent chunk of time. It's most likely you won't grow any larger from riding low in these comments.
