Agreed, the older Mazda 3s looked better. They were also had a bit better acceleration. IE:The 2007 Mazda 3 S, was 155 hp like the 2012 Mazda 3 Skyactiv, but it could reach 60 mph in 7 seconds. The skyactiv takes over 8 seconds, or just under 8 if you have a standard transmission. The skyactiv 3 has much better mileage, and a higher top speed. Mazda rep told me the 2013 3 would have the same front grille, but would have USB standard. The new header for the 3, he said, would be on the 2014 car.

I like the older mazda 3... the new ones look like a giant smiley face coming down the road. Cars should look mean. But still I LOVE mazda.
