Do your prawns taste like prawns cause I've noticed when i do it they lose their taste? I usually do it in a in a chicken bone broth for a minute or so. I love your videos btw ❤

I've heard that pork belly at least here in America is carcinogenic. Is there another part of the pig that is similar to that part that could be used instead?
All pork (and red meat) is considered a class 2 carcinogen. Specifically processed meat, so pork belly that becomes bacon is considered a class 1. This is the same category as tobacco. The class 2 is a probably so it is a trend they noticed when analyzing a lot of countries. You will likely just have to make your own risk assessment. Theoretically maybe try a chicken thigh, fatty to be better match the pork but less risk?
Where do you buy pork belly???? I haven't been able to find any at any grocery store or any of the butcher's near me (within an hour/50mi radius). I will take any and all suggestions at this point, I need this cut off meat in my life😭❤️ (Where to find pasture raised pork belly would be ideal but I'll take what I can get at this point.)
I had this same question. I looked online and they mention you can find it at Asian grocery stores or ask your local butcher for this cut. I hope this helps.
