  • Want to be More Productive? Do Less Work | Vantage with Palki Sharma
Slow productivity is the new buzzword for productivity gurus and Gen Z workers alike. Slow productivity refers to producing high-quality work while working less at one's natural pace. Experts say that slow productivity boosts performance and concentration. The trend may be new but this concept has existed for generations with famous proponents like Galileo Galilei, Isaac Newton, and Marie Curie. How can you practice slow productivity? Will this concept work for everyone?

FINALLY -- something I can debunk. Speaking from experience - " I do nothing and get NOTHNG done." I've been proving THAT since 1957,

Namaskaram Ms. Sharma! I think it is absolute insanity for people to work 5 days a week. You will be spiritually vacuous and intellectually drained. The work week should be reduced to 4 days. The problem is that a large majority of people cannot afford to take 3 days off a week. How are you supposed to absorb nourishment and enrichment in the soul? Great Video!

We can't even go to the washroom nowadays after doing some work. Indian employees are weird. They see everything as an opportunity for criticism.
Foreigners are way understanding in these aspects (Most of them)

Working at a measured pace steadily, one is less likely to go wrong. Even the lawyers can adopt this practice, if they are selective about the briefs they accept. In India, most civil and criminal side lawyers run helter skelter, trying to appear in half a dozen court halls every day.

Unfortunately this mostly works in office environments. Health care workers are always overworked, can't afford to slow down because lifes are on the line. i think that the government workers in my country esp home affairs workers and municipality workers follow this rule

My new female boss is gender biased she only recruits females and tell male to do all work and promotes only females to higher position, she even promoted females just after they came back from 1year maternity leave.
And Females just want to dicuss household things while male slog and do work.

    Hi Palki,
    Slow production?
    That’s funny; don’t encourage this.
Most companies complain about their workers down time on the internet and social media.
They also complain of the high costs of doing business-the reason many companies ship jobs overseas. And, the H1B Visas have become so popular.
Truth be told, most people don’t like their jobs, or don’t like to work.
The thing about work, is that one has to develop creative ways of doing tasks, have the ability to problem solve, develop organizational skills, work ahead of what’s necessary for one work day, and show evidence of what was accomplished.
Like anything else, having a job takes both short and long-term planning. It makes the job easier and more fun to do.
Then, when unexpected things come up, one does not need not be stressed.
Remembering when I worked full time, went to college full time, had a young daughter, volunteered in my church and community-always helping others, and I was never stressed, but counted it all joy. And done have the audacity to say, I never graduated with a bachelor or masters degree😂😂😂😂
Today, I don’t know what the problem is. It’s like some cannot walk and chew gun at the same time.
I’m not sympathetic when it comes to this at all.
