Could you please suggest the differences (if any) between assembled in Vietnam and assembled in China AirPods Pro 2 USB C?
Updated mine, I can confirm the microphone is improved (lighting case) but ANC is still the same, I bought my pros 2 for the x2 ANC and they nerfed it, I don’t know why apple doing this, they force ppl buy the premium line for this feature and after some updates you can hear ppl speaking in next room lol
Also, using Spatial Audio on stereo audio seems to me to be improved.
I reset Spatial Audio personalization and set it again, and for me now it has more bass and sound stage a bit wider. (Re uploaded)

Mics still suck on both with wind. To get the best noise cancellation - replace the eartips with Comply foam ear tips. I get them on Amazon. The noise cancellation is just as good if not better compared to the Bose Quiet Comfort Ultras with the Comply foam.

The Airpod Pro microphones are catastrophic compared to even the competition at $60-$100, Earfun Air S, Oneplus Buds 3, Realme Buds Air 5 Pro and even the Qcy Melobuds Ht05 at $20 are better 🤦🏽♂️

@skyhero1888 Because I have already tested the Airpod Pro 1 and 2 in real conditions of phone calls in noisy environments against other earbuds that cost barely $20 Qcy Melobuds Th05, Earfun Air S at $50, Realme Buds Air 5 Pro at $60-$80, which I can say with confidence, that the Airpod Pros suck in this area.
The Airpod Pros are clearly among the best in terms of ANC, and certainly the best in terms of transparency, but for everything else, they are very average and sometimes even bad.
The Beats Studio Buds+ which are supposed to be a range well below the Airpod Pro 2 are much much better than them when it comes to phone calls, especially in noisy environments.
It's not a matter of unnecessary hatred, it's just the sad reality.

@@rolins3279They are f*ing amazing for transparency especially compared to the Airpods Pro 1 and the sound quality is much improved, but imo (I've tried 2 units of the APP2 and one of the APP1 a longer time ago) I must say the ANC low-key sucks. When I snip my fingers I can hear it basically as loudly as without ANC and it's comparable to my overear Audeze Maxwell passive isolation. Outside the birds are chirping and I just compared the Maxwell passive and Airpods Pro 2 USB-C on the latest firmware with ANC on and the Maxwell are actually BETTER while (obviously) sounding way more natural!! This is crazy! Even compared to ANC off on the APP2 it's ALMOST THE SAME!!! It barely cancels the sound of the birds (although it does significantly reduce the sound of my breathing) while making it way more robotic / artificial sounding with some added (although quiet) white noise. Even in loud scenarios like a bus ride they suck, sometimes it's so bad that I thought I had them on Transparancy when they were actually on Noise cancellation. From what I can remember the APP1 were about as good, but less robotic / artificial sounding.
@@skyhero1888he is right. Except airpods max, i hav every airpods in my house. Airpods pro 2 are arguably the worst in mic quality among them. The cheapest among them, airpods 2nd gen still outperform all.
Did this version fixed the lightning version ANC, in the previous software video 6B34 you said lighting ANC has been worsened, is it always the case ? In the level meter I see small difference with USB C, which has a slightly better ANC (minor difference), thank you.

Agreed! I’ve just upgraded to the pro 2 and can’t believe how useless the noise cancellation is. Has it always been this bad or were previous firmware versions any better?
have you tried different ear piece ? mine it is so quite until I had the whizzing sound in my head as if I was somewhere underground bunker, I had the ANC with Jabra and I couldn't find a suitable ear piece which make me buy a Sony XM5 but I find it's not suitable for me wearing a long time, for now the AirPods pro 2 using the biggest ear piece do the job, cheers
The microphones are definitely improved.
Not as good as AirPods 2 or AirPods 3
They were horrible on the last firmware.
AirPods 2 / 3 microphone was significantly louder and clearer.
Callers would exclaim in relief when I swapped from the Pros.
Does anyone realize you can stop wind noise by taking a small piece of electrical tape and cover the top microphones which will cut out any noise from outside. It work’s very well as I have used it multiple times with no background noise. Works better than noise cancellation. Try it out😊
What is the case version for AirPods Pro 2 (lightning type)? .. mine is showing 54.26.1
I am not impressed by the new update. In my ears it sounds quite the same, at least a little better, but nothing which could be considered as good or aceptable :)
