I think the head shake gesture is the best feature, that I needed. Edited: You forgot about gaming mode on iOS 18 and iPadOS 18, which decreases latency.
Voice isolation: yes, iOS 17 already has it but I never remember to go into the Control Center - and it has to be during the freaking call - to turn it on. Why can't this feature kick in automatically? Why would anyone not want the mic to pickup your voice over and above the background noise in a phone call?
Keep in mind that Voice Isolation doesn't work for Macbook cellular phone calls (facetime calls are ok), and doesn't work for Apple Watch since there's no way to toggle those settings. Voice Isolation would work regardless of which Apple device you're on, since it's now built in to Airpods Pro. This is the feature I was most excited about.
For the iPods pro 2 (USB C), could you suggest if the assembled in Vietnam is any different (better/worse) than assembled in China? Software and build quality wise. Also any idea about the pro 3 releases?
Updated to this beta on my APP2 and noticed keeping the AirPods on “normal” mode automatically isolated background noise like the bathroom fan and toilet flushing without me having to toggle on voice isolation mode like before. The mic has been significantly improved.
Hey Aaron, I think with the voice Isolation in the airpods themselves, it will be effective even when airpods are used with non apple devices (my guess). I think you can test airpods pro2 with beta firmware connected to a non apple devices to see if there is a difference.
nah i got the beta and it makes them crackle when you have the bass up all the way on spotify equalizer and you cant turn them up the whole way (im gonna be deaf by 20)
How ‘bout a multi-band EQ Lord Timmy? Or is that gonna be a “revolutionary” feature for iOS 25 or somethin? Heh, this is silly at this point. Oh yea, I thought the same exact thing about the announcement of voice isolation. That was confusing.
Actually, didn’t understand what you said. Why they would shake hands unnecessarily? Instead, better say to the people who listens rock music or such and shake their heads. Some people overdo this; mistake can be happened by them, not the people you refer; it’s clearly a stereotyping.

That could be it. Universal voice isolation

Also the "game mode" reduces latency in games. They mentioned something about lossless support on WWDC.
I’d rather them improve the noise cancellation

Waiting for your review on this beta.
With iOS 18, if you scratch your head the AirPods Pro 2 will abruptly hang up on whomever you are talking to so be careful. 😁
😂😂😂
