- I show you how to factory reset a Roku Premiere or Premiere+ (Plus) without using a remote or going through the settings. We will simply use the reset button on the Roku Player. Hope this helps.

Ok I rest my Roku and I'm on screen to choose language but I DO NOT have a Roku remote, just the app, how do I sync the app since it's not connected to WiFi after reset

Would have been great, if you thought it through. After factory reset, how would you choose language and setup the Roku without the remote? Essentially, “how to HALF factory reset without remote.”

@@mjbowman2004 do you mean using the reset button as the select button. That’s a thought I didn’t consider.
just reconnect your remote duh either press the button on the remote or remove the batteries before the reset once on put the batteries in and it'll connect the remote

What if the remote does not pair with the Roku as you reset it? The remote does not have a reset or pairing button. How to fix that?
If I no longer have the TV and I want to give my roku device do I still need to factory reset or it’s automatic since I had unplug it from the TV? Thx

Reset the device NOT restart it. That worked to perfection with my other roku device. Choose Language menu appeared and I was good-to-go.
But after that, then how do you connect without a remote.

How do you find a Roku remote control that you lost
This is my first time opening and using a Roku box. First, I could not get it to turn on at all. I still can't get it to turn on. Second, I tried to plug it into my strip using the adapter that came with it, and I had to move my entire strip on stop of my tv stand because the cables that came inside the Roku box are extremely short. I am stuck I don't know what to do. It is holiday week. 27 December, 2022 right now. I have been buying and returning products all week. I returned the other Roku HD device today because it was not the 4K version. I don't know what to do. This is a brand new device. Without this device, I may be returning my brand new Vizio tv, because I am not accepting any SmartCast spyware. The inputs on my tv say no input. Apparently, a home screen is supposed to appear that says, "Roku." So far, I see nothing. I am hungry and it is late. I was hoping to finally watch Hocus Pocus 2.
Edit: I finally got it. Needed both the hdmi an the adapter plugged in. It is a lot.

I have followed all directions to a T dozens of times and even after it says I am connected to wireless and internet and tells me I'm good to go...after a bouncy ROKU logo, it sends me back to "pick Language" (beginning) Ready to return it but imma try the factory reset button that the directions just happen to NOT MENTION AT ALL!

I’m having the same problem. The remote paired after resetting the Roku block… it asked for Language and the second I pushed English everything went black for a moment. Then back to the Roku screen where the words “Roku” bounce up and down. It continues to ask for the language then back to the Roku screen.

I’ve had that happen many times as the Roku server is down. At times it took like 2-3 days then finally worked.
Can’t connect to Wi-Fi
My remote won't pair. I've don't this before, every now & then the remote stops working. I hate wi-fi remote controls. There's no problem with having to point it at the device, just seems like a whole lotta bullshit just so you don't have to point the remote at the device. I do the whole process, unplug Roku unit from TV and power, remove batteries, replace batteries, power up Roku. Then it goes to a screen telling me to press pairing button till green light blinks or lights up but the light never blinks/lights. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

To everyone else like me, you reset and it gets to language screen and you can’t do anything because your app won’t connect to the network. It’s time to throw it in the garbage.😅
If u don’t have a Roku remote then u can buy on Amazon or eBay for like $10.

@@kaylajerome4684 I had trouble pairing my wifi to my Roku because I don't have a remote and I also used the Roku app but to no avail until I bought a remote I was able to set up my wifi and it worked
