I do too! Everytime I want to watch someone build something that is EASILY purchased at a store which has already been assembled and is cheaper to buy than it is to build, AND done so by a nerd wearing shirts made out of old curtains in a gay bar, I watch NAAAAAM.
I binge watch episodes while working remotely from home, comfort TV for me, like old MASH episodes. or even Bob Ross doing a painting. This is just plain good stuff!
Me too! I've noticed in my hometown NO ONE has any for sale! Lowes, Home Depot, Ace, Town and Country, Harbor Freight, I mean NONE available! ANYWHERE! I sure was glad to watch this and order a MEZZAAHED DRAWER-ING to build one.
A great idea and possible project for our family. I don't think it will look as nice as yours, but hopefully it works. Thank you for sharing your excellent video. God bless 🙏
i’d use Thompson deck clear or water proofing colored stain due to if your mulch bags are wet from a recent rain or hauling fire place logs getting a work out with grandkids wanting a ride. you can hose it off let it air dry not have worry about it rotting. you can leave it outside
This is far better than any wheel barrow you can buy today. Everything available is so flimsy and if it is well made they want a fortune. So, some time and effort and you have something that will last indefinitely. I guarantee that if you spend the time to build this, it wont get left out in the weather.
Thank you for putting these videos together, I always enjoyed watching Norm on Sunday morning's on PBS here in N.C. & now I really appreciate them even more. Can you only imagine how much it would cost to make a wheelbarrow like that with today's lumber prices, easily $300 to $400.00 😢. I always admired Norm & just how good he was/is. Thank you Norm for the great memories.
Loved watching these shows back in the day. It's great that these are now available, because I missed a few, being at sea. Looking forward to re-watching every series. The only thing that made me cringe in this video, was watching Norm use that beautiful Estwing hammer to bend the metal. The proper tool would have been a ball peen hammer, made for working on metal.
@ 6:42 Norm, I have never seen a tenoning jig that small! In fact, I've never even saw a toggle clamp on the newer models in the early 21st century at all!
@@paulorth2251 Yeah, right? Trying to hold a strip of stock on end for cutting tenon cheeks is obviously dangerous, and very unsafe to push through the blade. I've never used one of these jigs before, and as soon as I finally get my hands on one, I'll be a master mortise and tenon maker for years!
"Remembah, theah ah no ma impaaatant safety rule, than to weah THESE safety glaaaaahhhsses." How can we wear YOUR safety glasses Norm? We can always go to a Goodwill and search the bargain bins for the kind of shirts you wear, but wearing YOUR safety glasses? How? Do you rent them or......?
Noooorm!! We love you Norm :-) So pleased to discover these again.
Love Norm, always a pleasure to watch.
Minus the eye melting, fashion killing shirts he sports that is.
I enjoy these old shows. Thanks for sharing them

I have been waiting for this episode to be uploaded! Thank you!

It would be so wonderful to have Norm do a RUclips video of a new project, just once, for old time's. Thank you for these!
I'd like to see him in a shirt that doesn't look like the wallpaper in a gay bar.
Amazing wood working!
Equally amazingly ugly abortions...I mean plaid shirts.
No one explained better than Norm did I've been building over 30 years I learned so much from him
I have a corded drill just like that one. Those square screws are called Robertsons in Canada. We use them everywhere.
Guy Canada 🇨🇦
We have a wheelbarrow but it is very old. thank you for showing us how to make a new one. God bless.
I like my new metal wheelbarrow with two pneumatic tires that I bought at Ace that I didn't have to build in order to use it.
Pretty cool Wheel Barrow Norm Abram.
My uncle and I built this about 20 years ago. I still have it and I converted it to a TV stand.

I love the way he says AH-SIM-BULL-EE.

Which is exactly hy my brand new METAL two-wheeled pneumatic tired wheelbarrow for $169.99 at Ace was such a bargain! AND it was assembled already!
16:41 If the closed captions said, " vrrrrrroooom vrrrrrrooomm!" This would be the best thing on youtube.
Wow.

Beautiful reproduction of a much used and much home life tool. Thanks for sharing.

I have that problem with my jigs too.

That gravestone 😂
After events of today this is really wonderful to watch
Naam is the best
At wearing shirts known as Cloth Abortions.
I want to see this wheelbarrow today.
We would too! We can't find it 😉
No!! Dang. I wonder how many things Norm has taught us to make are now lost. I hope not too much.
this puts my Jackson wheelbarrow to shame. I had to buy a Gorilla cart to get that kind of functionality you have
👍👌
👍
The only difference I would do would be the paint the hardware black.
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🤫😎
Build wooden Wheel Barrow for a beautiful decoration in the garden.
What ever happened to the show
